20 years ago in April for Japan and October for United States, the land of Termina was met with a terrible fate and a unusual sequel to to one of the best video games was made. 2020 is the year of the Mask and not just because of the Covid-19 crisis causing people to wear protective masks. 2 years ago we have celebrated the 20th anniversary of Ocarina of Time so now I think it's only fair that Majora's Mask get some love and attention

In honor of the 20th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask, I ask any and all players out there to share with me what's your favorite part of Majora's Mask? What mask would you like to wear in real life if you could? What would you do if you had only 3 days left?

 

For me my favorite moment is actually a lot of moments in the game but I do prefer the one where you play The Ballad of the Wind Fish using all four instruments to get the Circus Leader in a nostalgic mood. My favorite mask would be the Zora Mask so I be able to swim through the water. And if I had 3 days left I would make sure to spend time with the people I love and that there will be no regrets left.

Also, The one thing Majora's Mask had over most other Legend of Zelda games is that they actually make you care about the non-playable characters that would just go unnoticed in most other games. Every time the world seemed to come to an end I keep going back in time with new knowledge because I ultimately wanted to save everyone or in some cases, help lost troubled souls move on with their regrets healed.

Wow its been that long already man I feel old lol. My favorite part  hands down would have to be is Ikana Canyon along with the Stone Tower Temple. Both have a pretty dark atmosphere and a interesting story. Not only that there are tons of theories surrounding them so making it so much more interesting. Also I really love the fact this game really does make you care about the NPC's. Which is something not many games has really done for me. One of my favorite moments though is when I realized I could translate the hylian and find all the nifty little easter eggs hiding in plain sight.

can't believe best zelda and second best game ever made is already 20 years old 

generally i really love the zora locations but my absolute favorite spot is probably the main location in the moon (where you meet the moon children i mean). majora also has my two favorite zelda characters, skull kid & kafei. i got into majora's mask during a turbulent time in my life and it will always hold a strong piece of my heart tbh

 Most of the translations can be be found on the Zelda Wiki.  I did manage to find the page on it so I will place the link here  which does have it for all the games in the series.

Being a moderate Zelda fan, I still need to play this. I've played the original Zelda, Zelda II, Link to the Past, and Ocarina of Time, but I never got around to playing this. Happy anniversary to it!

22 and 20 years later respectively, both Ocarina of Time and this are still my favorite Zelda games ever.
