And yes, that is convenient indeed. I myself have used phone just few times to condense resin and do the daily quests (at like 10FPS lol) when thunderstorms caused power outages. It's that I just worry, that it may have a negative impact on the game in general, from PC/Console players' perspective. For example, the pot system and its limits - I'm pretty sure the limit was adjusted to the weakest available device, which probably would happen to be phones (their target are likely iphones). The removal of archipelago also was probably because of phone's limitations, otherwise what harm would be to keep this cool place in the game? There's an entire soundtrack album for this, all the voice acting and everything. I think I even enjoyed these archipelago more than Inazuma tbh. The game already lacks content, so why would there be a need to remove anything?

That is why I suspect the availability for mobile devices to be dragging down the game, even though I know it's convenient and stuff...

PC master race. Just saying. Anyhow, this Abyss was kinda easy. Got 36 stars. Also got Keqing. Serves me right for summoning the Anemo Archon anyway. Ehe. Still, good enough, especially since Dendro's gonna make my girl strong. Also got Rosaria to C5. One constellation left boys. However, I'm conflicted. On one appendage, Hu with Rosa and Xingqiu is insane. They are going through bursts faster than Raiden teams while burning through mobs like a knife through butter, but I have a dream: Rosa, Kuki, Xinyan, Eula physical shred comp.

Any thoughts on the new leaks so far? I heard many complaints about the new archon and such. But I’m looking forward to Sumeru era.

I think a lot of the complaints are pretty valid - Mihoyo missed some opportunities to beautifully showcase the cultures they’re drawing inspiration from. But it’s not worth overreacting/hating on, at least not until we see the rest of the region’s cast since there are many more characters to come. Please Cyno come reveal yourself ;_;

In the mean time I’m excited to finally get Kazuha and Heizou!  The new islands look really pretty and fun to explore. Sad they’ll have to go away again so quickly.

I agreed. I’m Asian and here I want more accurate skin tones rather just pale pasty color skin. I found it annoying people called out people like me who wanted more skin tones “racists”.  Aside from that, I’m not quite sure what kind of culture Genshin is trying to pull with Sumeru since it should look a bit of a mixed Africa and middle eastern but what I see so far is paradise topical rainforest..

I waited for Cyno and Baizho reveals as well. I would love some leaks about them . I figure the leakers doesn’t want to take a big risk too. so knowing that, I think the two will be very important hopefully.

 

Best of luck of getting them both on the same banner though!

So, Harbingers. The old man must be Pierro, the First Harbinger hailing from Khaenri'ah. His pupils look star-shaped.  Traveler is the white knight? Interesting though, that Arlechinno is a tomboy. However, the story is still far away. What was the meaning of this tomfoolery?

It’s pretty cool to finally see all the harbingers all at once instead having to introduce them one by one every once a year or two. And here we go again with the traveler being something this and that without any content or build up .  It’s nice to know Signora is not forgotten, although I’m still clinging onto the idea that she will revive herself  based on symbols and theories. So I can finally have her as playable.

Speaking of Fatui, Scaramoche is sure getting a major upgrade or a make-over.

Yeah that video was a surprise but a welcomed one! I wonder if they will make Pulcinella (the short old man with the long nose) playable? I can’t imagine he would sell very well… 

If they do make the harbingers playable then they are probably going to have to redo the friendship system/teapot companionship because there is no way I’d want the traveler to be friends with some of them (especially Dottore)

Also I got another Mona on the Kazuha banner  still had enough saved to guarantee Kazuha though and I got four Heizou’s too! Now to save for Tighnari and the other Sumeru characters. I’m loving how there is so much to do this patch with all the new areas on the islands, and Xinyan’s story actually made me like her a bit more.

I was actually glad Genshin decided to add an short old man and as for pirreo to look less of a pretty boi husbando. It adds variety to the characters design! Although I’m not sure if the two will be playable since the leak say all but those two and signora is still unknown. But I sure hope so!

I agreed. I think Genshin should break the rule about “only traveler’s friends get to be playable” . Honkai I believe already done that. I can’t imagine most of them especially Dottore reformed and befriended with the traveler. The only descent and nice harbinger so far from the leaks is Pulcinella. Since it say he hold high morals and work ethics.  Arlecchino might end up like Tempest shadow since she could betray them at anytime for her own benefits but we will have to see how she treats the traveler. Childe … yeah don’t get me started with his character… is a mess. My overall point is, it can go two ways. Have them reformed with a good redemption arc or butchered the hell out of them and force  them to fit the “the good guy” mold because “friendship is magic”. Or just allow villains be playable despite of not being friends with the traveler. I rather have that.

 

ohhh man that sucks- well maybe next time on Kazuha 3rd rerun you might get him! But I think it’s a good idea to save for the new Sumeru characters! 
 

I have done the new event but have not finished Xinyan yet. I know the event last for a month but the puzzle is so repetitive that I’m already getting a burn out from it.

 

Also, So any harbingers you all wanted to pull for?

All the characters from the Travail trailer have become playable. Pulcinella was the character shown for Shneznaya region. Who knows. I can see the future Traveler and Harbingers becoming allies, but not friends. They are way too fishy.

 

I've always liked Xinyan. Though, she's way too positive for may tastes. She's cramping my style. Anyhow, I'm in the race with Mihoyo for C1 Kazuha. I don't have Klee, but between C1 Hu and C4 Yanfei, I really don't need her.

Not sure why Anemo for Scaramoche, but most people say it’s based on his God Myth or something like that. Since Scaramoche will eventually become a god in the story for us to fight against. Although I would prefer electro..

Damn that’s so accurate hahaha although Mona and the traveler should switched XP  I actually like these group a lot,  their chemistry really work well. Maybe because now that I see they are alike as the mane 6.

also question. Did anyone manage to find all 16 shell for the skin? I only found 13.. I even look at the guide and got the ones shown.. am I’m missing something here?

I'm kinda procrastinating with the archipelagos and I'm somewhere in the middle, but so far I got all the ones that are on the map on the islands I've been too. Currently I have 12/20 conches, the rest are on islands I'm yet to visit. Have you tried consulting the map and seeing if you got them all? It's all tricky (and a bit annoying) because things appear once you progress with quests and islands have changeable layouts, so it's really confusing. You kinda have to revisit places multiple times.

Not sure there is a god myth. He will likely have two elements like all Harbingers. Some are even saying he will obtain a vision in the story.

Yeah, a gacha game has better character interactions than western cartoons built on character interactions. Prinzessin der Verurteilung has managed to pull two character arcs MLP never could, resolving both her struggle with her dark side and her status as an impostor without sacrificing her humanity. Also, Mona would protest for being associated with RD. She would find it most rude.

I was just screwing around on the islands. Managed to obtain 14 conchs. The rest I've gotten from the character mirages. There's one in each. Yeah I looked almost every where based on the map and the guide given to me. I thought maybe we will have a part two of the story after we finished this one and they will add more shells. So I might have to go back again and check.

You need to go back in some mirages because they are like a maze. They are hard to explore when you're guided by the story.

 

Island puzzles suck. And now they also made a Co-op only event. I hate co-ops even more than these puzzles.

 

I want the Radish Archon, but with the unpredictability of 50/50 it's hard to do tactical wishes. My best bet is to burn them until I get a standard 5-star.

Reached AR 60. Used three free wishes and got Keqing C2. Guess that's the best RNG reward one can obtain for getting this far.

 

But damn, the upcoming banners are stupid. With so many meta units, it's like they are trying to push people into spending sprees. I'll probably go fish for Kokomi, but I'll have to check them banner leaks first.

@Goat-kun Nice, I got to AR60 a longer while ago and I didn't get anything from the wishes.  The disappointment is off the charts. I assume you hit soft pity?

 

I hardly followed the news regarding the new region, so I just recall few random chars they promoted. Welp, I'm saving primos now because the current banners don't have anything I'd like, I hope they won't be releasing new chars too quick...
