Impossible not, but very annoying. The combat there is really frustrating. They filled the abyss with enemies that literally do nothing but fly all over the place and as we all know, time limit is the biggest problem there. They also added this geo wolf boss from inazuma that requires very specific geo characters (preferably catalyst users), because not all work - or rather, not all are quick enough to break the geo crystals.

I'm honestly very tired of getting soft-locked by element requirements (incl. getting stuck on abyss mages/fatui when not having that one required element while player shields can be broken with any element - some consistency would be nice MHY) and constantly switching party members (which is a slow process) just to solve open world puzzles and such. If at least the rewards were worth it...

In general I don't like the direction the game is going. They started adding so many obnoxious enemies and bosses lately and they end up in already cancerous abyss. I wish there was an enjoyable end-game content there in this dead game.

pffft when genshin bosses and enemies are much more annoying that Dark soul's bosses.  I do enjoyed my experiences in the abyss since I like to combined my skills and testing out my characters built. but coming from your experiences, if looks like they expected only whales to conquer it.  I don't quite enjoy the game as much too hence the story is too slow update and I have a long list of other world quests that I haven't done yet. But just don't feel like getting into boring side story. So my primary purpose is just farming for primosgems.

I thought Enjou would be on the 2.5 story since he was in the trailer...guess that got thrown out completely. and the trailer for 2.6 only shown the festival which is kinda disappointing since I want to see some archon content. The chasm is something I'm looking forward too though. But dang I hope this archon is not one of another 'useless' lore.

I never liked the abyss to be honest, it offers the worst possible combat experience the game has to offer, and gives not so great rewards for going through. I wasted more time on it than I should. 

I'm no longer enjoying the game myself either, every single day it's doing the same exact quests in the same exact locations, there's no gameplay whatsoever. There's a huge potential for an enjoyable game on coop and I do have someone to play with --- but there's literally nothing to do in this game... I'm just entering to do daily quests and bye - and it became quite a nuisance lately. I also am pretty much grinding primos at this point, hoping to get a new character soon...

That would really suck for new players who want those characters, unless they add an epitomized path system. Otherwise you could spend thousands of wishes and never get the character(s) you want.

It's already like this for standard 5stars, but with this system you could choose which standard banner you'd want. If two banners is too few you could make more. Besides, those characters would expand the 50/50 and make it less of a drag. It's not a perfect system, but it could be superior to a future X-banner system where more and more characters would be rotating at once.

I still haven’t decided if I want Ayato. He looks cool but I don’t really have a good weapon to give him, since Ayaka gets my Amenoma, and so far I’m not thrilled with his personality (though maybe that’ll change after his story quest and the festival). He feels okay to play. I threw one 10 pull on his banner and got a Sucrose.

Playing as Razor in Hyakunin Ikki made me excited to grab him from the shop this Friday!

To be honest I don't find him appealing either, at least at first glance. For me even the appearance looks a bit odd, it feels like walking around teyvat as a doctor or something. Not a fan of the outfit, heh. 

I pulled for him because I wanted some decent hydro damage. He's doing some hydro dps and off-field damage, so seemed to be a good enough option for me. So far I was relying on xingqiu only, but he's really annoying in the spiral abyss with his insanely long skill CD and high-cost burst. He's doing some decent damage when his burst is on, but most of the time he's literally doing nothing when on CD / no energy. Even C6 didn't seem to fix that problem much, so here's hoping Ayato will help... and putting him with Yae Miko should be fun. 

Kokomi would be a great option too, but she was resistant and didn't want to come home, so I gave up on her. Maybe next time.

Razor is indeed a decent 4* unit.

Ouch let's hope this misfortune goes away quick.  At first I was lucky with 50/50's, but lately it got pretty bad.  

My sister also really wants him since his very first banner, but no luck at getting him lol. Maybe this time...

Let me also add good artifacts to this list.  Now this is super rare, I'm destroying thousands of artifacts for mora (due to full inventory) yet I hardly have any good ones. 

Come on mihoyo, doing the same exact domains with the same exact challenges and enemies 9999 times ain't fun. :c

Damn does anyone have hard time trying to find a way to get here?? I believe I did most of the Chasm world quest. I tried to look almost every route to lead me lower in the mine but can’t find none.

Edit: nevermind! I figured it out. Damn I was NOT expecting the game to force us to do world quest in order to explore the chasm freely and doing the archon quest. I don't know how I feel about that. I prefer to explore the Chasm without feeling forced to do world quest.  Speaking of Chasm...kinda disappointed. It's just a mine that everywhere you go everything looks the same. but whatever.

Yelan looks super cool, especially those attack animations, but also I feel like she almost looks too modern for Genshin maybe?  Might be just me. Kuki Shinobu is awesome, but since there is no epitomized path for 4*, I probably can’t count on getting her ;_; 

Since Itto is the speculated 2.7 rerun and I already have him, and it doesn’t seem like Kazuha is coming until 2.8, I figured I’d be safe to try 50/50 on Ayato. I got another Mona and an Ayato in the same 10 pull. Hydro supremacy . I just stuck the Flute on him for now

Well, that was ... something. It appears that there was another civilization like Sal Vindagnyr (Dragonspine) that has been extinguished by Celestia's Nail.

 

I don't fully agree with Dainsleif in regard to Abyss Order. Unlike Guts, he chose to resign and accept the curse and gods as something that is beyond his reach. His motive is dubious as he regards his fallen people as mere monsters but still wants to prevent their experiment. The whole thing feels personal. The highborn of Khaenri'ah might bear the blame for the suffering of their people; however, Sal Vindagnyr, Chasm, Enkanomiya, Tsurumi Island, these were all destroyed by Celestia before Khaenri'ah rose to prominence. It is then safe to assume that Keqing's dream will be shattered by another Skyfrost Nail in the future once the human civilization once again reaches a certain point and inevitably goes against the Heavenly Principles. The Abyss Order and the Fatui, their methods and philosophies aside, are ironically the only factions that stand against the oldest enemy of humanity.

 

Does this mean Kaeya is over 500 years old? He should have been cursed like the rest of them, unless he somehow got out of Khaenri'ah before the Calamity and emerged from the Abyss 500 years later. Or are there some that have actually managed to shield themselves from the curse and Khaenri'ah still exists unbeknownst to Abyss Order and Dainsleif?

 

Travelers are not from Khaenri'ah but they have been there before. Exploring this further, there are murals on Dragonspine depicting winged angels communing with the people of Sal Vindagnyr. Travelers might be fallen deities tightly connected to humanity responsible for such deeds like bringing the seed of that alien tree to the mountain in order to save the people from ice. They do not remember, but the destruction of those ancient civilizations might be the reason why they chose to fight with the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles.

 

... Never mind. Venti can wait in a bar for a while. I have Kazuha. Yelan is the kind of character I need, and the kind of character I approve of.

To be honest I'm not sure, lately I seem to lose 50/50 way more often than at the beginning.

Ah nice leak I haven't seen. So a bow user, huh... I'm worrying she may not be a good character then... Bow users usually are quite weak and/or have weird/slow playstyle that solely rely on situational E or Q. The only exception so far is Ganyu.

Yelan's charged attack does seem to cause some boom, at least visually. I wonder if it will have some actual extra effects worth charging. All bow charged attacks (aside Ganyu) is just a waste of time, let's hope Yelan will join the gang of bow users, that actually know how to use bows efficiently lol.

Her E seems to be a bit weird and unclear atm, Q seems nice.

Congrats in getting Ayato! You’re spared with such clutch haha Kuki looks really cool and she’s like Xinyan but as a healer. But… might gonna hold off on her since I have way to many electros.

@Goat-kun damn I have not gotten to the story that far yet these world quest are sure a huge pain ngl. I think it was a huge waste not having Kaeya not being a part of this quest as we’re digging deeper with his people. But of course, Dain seems to be reluctant when the traveler believe the abyss order tried to restore the people of  Khaenri'ah. But I can see why Dain hates the abyss order as they’re responsible for the fallen of their own kind.

is there’s a confirmation of Kazuha rerun?

I heard from leaks that Yelene is good for ground control but not for bosses. I’m not quite sure what her E or ult burst do either..

Just finished the Chasm story quest today. All I can say is... I bet Ella Musk is going to have a big role in the story later on  (I also got her commission today what a coincidence) 

The Chasm has been fun to explore, but I prefer the bright colorful locations, but hopefully Sumeru will be bright and colorful!

I'm on my last part right now but I can say right now, the story is very interesting-at least for now we're getting closer to understanding what going on the 500 yrs ago archons war.  I have feeling Ella musk will be in the main story if we wanted to contact with the hilichurls to understand what happen because they used to be humans.  This new story definitely  bought back my interests again since the Inazuma one kinda killed it for me. 

I'm like the same. While I do like the whole  gloomy and mysterious aspect in the Chasm but like Ekonomyia-there's so much climbing.
