If you played this game, you probably remember that quote. I'm just posting here to see if anyone used to play this game. Battlefield Bad Company 1 and 2, and Battlefield 3 pretty much took away the spotlight but BF2's community is STILL running strong. I'm pretty sure there might be a few bronies from here who still play it.

The Chineese faction sucked didn't it?

Ah, gotta love those MECs. DICE should bring them back in a DLC.

 

Road to Jalallalalallalalallalalalabad was definitely my most played map. Loved it, and disappointed it didn't make it to BF3.

Loved BF2! Its been awhile since i've played it though so i don't remember my favorites I used to play it a lot, but then i lost my account info and couldn't recover it, so that ended my time with the game.

Well that's nice to hear, my favorite is the good 'ol 'Strike at Karkand' and let me tell you this, MEC were totally bad-ass....THEY HAD BEARDS!

My favorite faction was.... the USA (Oh the irony) But that because well.... they kicked ass in that game....

 

My favorite map has go to be Wake Island..... 10/10 best map. i loved flying in it and seeying F-35 coming towards you from their carrier.. Always gave me a smile.. but that stopped hwne they bombed me.

As much as I loved bf2 I don't remember much about it as it got overwritten by 2142.

I love BF2, it was definitely DICE's best mark on their modern warfare entry imo as I had loads of fun with this clan I use to be a part of till I got bored and disappointed with BF3.

 

1. Dragon Valley as I just loved the map layout and of the points strategic importance such as the River Village holding the only spawning point for U.S's AA.

 

2. U.S as I just loved everything they had and used in that game, even if the F-35 was piece of crap in a dogfight (Just like in real life).

 

3. Worst APC for being a big over-cumbersome piece of crap, crappy weapons, worst bombing craft in the J-10. But it did had my favorite aa vehicle in the PGZ-95 as the Linebacker's aa gun wasn't as good and the Tunguska had that huge piece in the middle blocking my line of sight to ground targets.

Not really. All you need is to install the Revive Battlefield 2 Launcher which will act as a patch and you'll be able to play it no problem.

 I know. What I meant with my line is that most people purchase Battlefield 2 for the PR mod, so it's almost become essential to download it.
