Did you cry when you initially saw the trailer for S9?

I didn't even knew it ended when I started... Like when i was at season 9 the show ended a week ago

Didn't weep, all it did was depress me. Instead of feeling like a celebration of FiM, it just brought me down. So I decided to not watch season 9, an exact opposite effect of what a trailer should do.

All great things have to come to an end, I didn't see the initial trailer, and where I was living at the time I did t currently have working internet or cable, so In actuality I got to marathon/catch up the season 9, I didn't hate it, but I surely didn't love it, when you think "epic send off" you do think every creature, every friend united together against a common enemy, and I think they did their best to capture this idea, the only thing I despise about season 9 and I mean UTTERLY despise is Discord being Grogar, that was trash. That made me sad, that made me depressed, but no it's good this show ended at a decent let off, it's good we got to showcase everypony one last time, it was great in "some" senses.

If I remember correctly, I only saw it after watching the episode itself. I generally avoided watching trailers, I wanted to watch the episodes without knowing too much about them (sometimes I hadn't even seen a summary).

The full episode had some emotional moments, but the trailer didn't have such a strong effect on me.

I was just hoping Season 9 would be more enjoyable to me than Season 8's season finale.

Didn't cry, but it was still poignant.

That it proved to be my least-favorite Season, rather than leave me on a high note, just made it more so. But in the wrong way.
