Who do you think is the worst?

P.S. My opinion, I "think?" Svengallop is the worst. Also you can include who you think even if they're not on the list above, such as Lightning Dust, but I don't think she's as bad and/or hateable as the ones above.

Principal Cinch is definitely my least favorite character in the entirety of G4. Some of the other characters listed here could be entertaining at times (like Spoiled Rich's appearance in "Applejack's 'Day' Off"), and many of them have good designs at the very least (I find Suri really cute, in particular). But Cinch is a character that I can't think of anything appealing about. Even her design screams evil, and not in a cool way like many of the other villains.

out of all of them on the list, i dislike spoiled rich/milk the most. i also have my fair share of dislikes that arent on the list, such as mud briar. i dont like mud briar because of the "technically" gimmick, it got annoying real fast, i think pinkie pie was justified on that one haha.

Svengelallop is the worst

He is a greedy and manipulative manager of Coloratura who exploits her for his own gain.

He was extremely arrogant, constantly mentioning his achievements and the things he did towards everyone he talked to.

Tried pulling Coloratura out of Helping Hooves Music Festival charity event to convince her to focus on the show.

Never showing his respect of "common" ponies, such as when he disapproved of Coloratura's interactions with them.

Behind Coloratura's back, he keeps making unreasonable demands to Pinkie Pie and threatening her to pull Coloratura out of the festival if she doesn't comply. And it's extremely unlikely that Pinkie is the first pony he forced to do demands for him.

Seems to dislike the very idea of charity.

Possibly is a child hater as he called the school ponies "brats".

When his truth was revealed in front of Coloratura, instead of panicking or showing remorse about this, he complained about how he worked incredibly hard for her and he deserved everything he get, much to Rara's disgust.

After quitting his position as Coloratura's manager, he angrily taunted her that her show will fall apart without him, which she nervously doubting about her performance. However, Applejack managed to talk this out by telling her that being herself is the true perk of friendship. In the end, he gets no well-deserved comeuppance and successfully gets away with it.

It's the Flim Flam Bros for being just a couple of scammers but for also never changing their shtick and it's the same song and dance every time. They got really old already by their second appearance yet I have no clue why the writers loved bringing them back so much

I'd say it's Queen Chrysalis because she couldn't let go of her hate, and Cozy Glow, because she was just born evil. Oh! And Opaline from G5. She never became good either.

I would say all rich/spoiled ones acting rude, because they think they are better than others, in some funny way.

Truth is that they only get along in their own habitat or sand box. To "normal" ponies/persons they are just embarrassing and awkward.

Svengallop is easily the worst of the bunch and for good reason.

Blueblood is related to Celestia and is the ONLY born prince of Equestria.

So basically, he's lived the grand life with every pony kissing up to him so of course he's going to grow up spoiled because that is what he grew up with. You grow up up on the lie that your farts somehow smell like roses you're gonna eventually get caught up in this hype.

He needs a reality check but ultimately I feel isn't beyond redemption just needs to learn the school of hard knocks...

Most of the rich types although not as an extreme case as blue blood probably have similar issues. Diamond tiara is a prime example of this she was spoiled and rotten until she finally snapped out of it and then she started over.

Spoiled rich herself I don't believe could be redeemed like that as I feel she is past the point of caring and is likely just a rotten apple period.

The principal is human living on earth and people suck in general so yeah she sucks but oh well..

Svengallop is in a different class because he's not only rotten but he's manipulative as well preying on the fears of both Rara and whatever place is hosting the music event.

He makes Rara feel as if she would be nothing without him and then bullies ponies with high demands on the threat of closing if they don't meet those demands.

Lightning dust in general I don't feel is a "bad" pony just reckless and stupid. The difference being she doesn't mean to hurt others she's just SO driven for whatever goal that she loses focus on anything else.

The idea of "simple" doesn't exist to her she HAS to do everything at 120% throttle because of her dare devil nature.

In other words she is quite literally addicted to thrill seeking.

And even then she made that addiction into a show and she even laughed about getting kicked out instead of seeking revenge like we expected.

So ironically the least mature of these bad ponies acted the most mature in terms of resolving her issues.

I think i need to step in here too.

I would say my great great great great great great great great great great great (and probably even more greats) nephew on my mother's side, about 52 times removed, roughly speaking. Duke Blueblood is extremely spoiled, even from my royal point of view.

And yes I know, he was originally a Duke, but was changed to a Prince because someone in the approval process thought kids wouldn't know what a Duke is. So that's the story. I renamed him into a Prince instead, even if he is not. Maybe that made him so incredibly self-absorbed and arrogant, who knows?

Just a few examples of what has come to my attention:

  • Rarity expects Prince Blueblood to give her a rose that he picked, but he takes it for himself.
  • He brings a cushion only for himself to sit in the castle's yard, leaving Rarity without a comfortable seat.
  • He makes Rarity use her shawl to cover a puddle so he doesn't get dirty.
  • He expects Rarity to open the door for him.
  • He expects her to pay for his dinner.
  • He inconsiderately dispraises Applejack's food in presence of her.
  • When Applejack's cake is catapulted across the room at him, he pushes Rarity in front of him to use as a shield so that he won't get messy.

This is not how we behave in my royal circle. He is sent on a crash course in Celestianism and as I hear it unfolds, he is making tremendous progress.

The bigger plot hole here is what the hell happened to every other relation to you and Luna?!

If Blueblood is your great... you know that implies you and Luna had husbands and kids which further had kids and so on then they are just gone ..

That's a mystery I'd ike Hasbro to solve ...

Consider that we only see small fragments of events, from a world that extends far far beyond our human understanding. Similar to the greatness of the universe is this world, where we see Equestria. A small part of the enormous world it comprises.

Hasbro and/or the creators behind it don't have the answer, they're just messengers of something they don't really know everything about.

Just one thought that strikes me, please think about the language. We have both a Princess and younger users here. (I know I'm not a moderator, but I defend my beloved princess in all situations)

Perhaps we should discuss this further in Celestianism club.  That said in regards to this topic I feel it obvious Blueblood had the issue of pretty much being told the world revolves around him and grew up believing it to be true and this is redeemable.

this is 100% biased because i have personal beef with this character: Spoiled Rich.  she's introduced in Crusaders of the Lost Mark as Diamond Tiara's abusive mother.  in this same episode, Diamond Tiara gets the beginning of a redemption arc, beginning to work towards being a better pony.

guess which of these two gets speaking appearances in the rest of the show.

am i being petty?  yeah, maybe.  but let's face it, the others have redeeming qualities.  Blueblood got a really good story in Friends Forever, Jet Set and Upper Crust are forgettable (yes i'm counting this as a redeeming quality), and the rest are either entertaining or sinister one-offs.  Spoiled Rich is just unpleasant all around.

EB: well you see, the explanation is perfectly simple and scientific.
EB: it was because shut up.
EB: shut up is why.

I'd say Queen Chrysalis. Her refusing to join the changeling hive is what non-reformed. Tirek (if I got that name right) and Cozy Glow were pretty evil from the beginning.
