I just wanted to thank everyone who sent kind wishes to us on our thread. MLPF has a long and rich history of its members and I’m so honored to be something of an archivist keeping track of it all. If you have any interesting stories to share, I am always here to listen! Thanks for being part of the community and the beautiful stories that continue to unravel.    and a thank you to @Samurai Equineyou may have noticed a moderator made this post - it’s because he’s always eager and happy to

I remember one day last year I logged in and immediately had some of warning pop up on my account, I had a mini heart attack and thought I’d somehow broke a rule on here but no, it was just @Sir Hugsalot trolling and “warning” me for posting in the count until a mod posts thread. That was very funny, I’ll admit.

I’ve also asked @Ice Princess Silky  some site related questions before, a while ago. She’s always been very helpful and understanding and really does take the things you say to heart.

The site really would be very different without them here, for sure. Thanks for all the work you both do!

Oh my gosh that is SO hilarious! Leave it to Sir to use his admin powers for fun and light-hearted laughter. He has always been that way.

I remember your return after such a hiatus. I was so happy to have you back and to help. The quality of friendship you’ve offered to people here is so heartwarming to see!

Also, there is something that I've been willing to tell the both of you for a long time but I never really felt like it was the right time. However, I think now it is the perfect time to tell you both that you're my favorite couple not just because you are my best friends but also because your love was strong enough to survive a long distance relationship for several years! You went through so many challenges but the fact that you're now reunited together nowadays prove how strong the bonds of passion are sincere between you, @Ice Princess Silky  and @Sir Hugsalot. :kindness:

I want to first say congratulations to the both of you of being Staffers of the Week! You both are truly amazing and you both deserve being the staffer of the week!

I looked up to see that @Samurai Equine had said we could share stories about you two. I most definitely have some stories and memories I've had with you both.

I remember meeting @Ice Princess Silky  from a simple message years ago. It was a drawing that a friend had requested of their OC and mine to be in a picture together. It was through that one picture and message that I added you and we began to talk and click together as friends. It almost feels difficult to explain. Not because of anything bad, but because it truly felt like the magic of friendship. The times we were able to lean on each other if we had a bad day to even telling each other exciting news. To me, it warmed my heart to chat with someone and I could truly feel like myself. Being able to meet in person where I gave you one of my tackle hugs and spun us around laughing in glee. Even bringing my Alolan Vulpix plush to meet you is a memory I still hold near and dear to my heart. 

When I met @Sir Hugsalot, it was actually because of Silky that I met him! We chatted, got to watch ponies and spend time together in other fun events. I still remember that one time where Silky and I were watching him play a video game together. We told him to take aim and talked about the aiming moment and we all laughed and had fun. Meeting Sir in person was truly a moment that also stood out to me. I love to give hugs and tackle hugs if I get up to the right speed in my run. The moment I saw him open his arms as I ran up to him, I leaped with joy into his arms. Only for us to collide and fall onto the airport ground. All the while laughing and smiling at us finally meeting each other. :ButtercupLaugh:

I even remember the weekend they came down to where I lived and we spent my birthday together. The activities we did, the company we shared, the tears of joy I had. To this day, that was truly one of the best birthday's in my life. It wasn't because of what I got, or what we all did together. It was truly because I got to spend it with who I consider to be my best friends. :coco:

You two are truly sweet as a couple and I love how a status update lead to the two of you finding each other. From becoming friends, to sharing so many memories and to eventually leading to a lovely relationship. The moments we've interacted together online and in calls,, the moments we hung out in person. How much you truly care about each other, the love and concern you have for one another, The way you two support each other through your interests, your dreams and even to what you both are passionate about. I'm reminded of what Twilight had said to Sunset near the end of Equestria Girls. "The magic of friendship doesn't just exist found in Equestria. It's everywhere." I feel those words, along with the love, kindness, warmth, love and friendship, can bring two amazing people together. I still remember when you both told me of the great news of how you two had become a couple. I was ecstatic, grinned from ear to ear and I was bouncing off the walls in joy of the news. You two are truly incredible and the love you two have for each other shows how much you both deserve each other. The love you two share inspire me into hoping to find that special somepony one day. I wish you both for a happy and lovely future together ^_^ 

I also want to thank you both for the opportunity to work alongside you both on staff as an Event Coordinator. There are times I feel that I'm not worthy of being an event coordinator, but the reassurance that you both give me reminds that it's okay to make mistakes and to never give up.

Thank you both so much for everything that you both have done and continue to do. There are times I always feel that I don't deserve the friendship you both have shown me, but you both remind me time and time again why you both are truly amazing friends and truly amazing individuals. I hope to continue getting to know you both and build upon the friendships we all share.

Congratulations to you both once again! Never stop being the awesome friends, as well as the awesome and loving couple you truly are. :hug_day::) :fluttershy:

When I left the staff for the second time, they were the sort of people I had in mind when I was confident that this place was left "In good hands", and from what I've read from everyone else, it seems my hunch was 100% correct. They made (and still are) making this a better place, and it just makes me happy to see that so many years after MLPForums was originally founded, there's still people with a burning passion in their hearts.

 

Of course though, that's not to underplay the role of everyone else, they are also hard at work for this place's sake, but this is a thread about Hugoholic and Silky, so I just speak about them specifically in this one occasion, but, just in case they ever doubt, you *all* are making this place truly great.
