Hey, everyone! The first obstacle has been revealed! As the race progresses, there will be more obstacles for you to face and overcome in order to advance. If you manage to roll well, then rewards shall be presented to you. The same can be said if you are unable to roll well. However, don't give up, trust in your rolls and never stop having fun, everyone!  

As for these rolls for the obstacle. If you haven't done your required post with your roll, then please do that first, before reacting to the obstacle. You can add the obstacle roll afterwards in the same post, or in your next post. 

Also, I wanted to remind everyone on how the dice rolls can go. If you are rolling for one or the other in regards to steps or leaves, then you can use a D20, or a 20 sided dice roll. If you want to roll for both steps and leaves, then you can still use the D20. However, you can split the D20 up evenly, or in a way that allows you to roll higher for one over the other. For example, if you wish to roll evenly for both steps and leaves, then instead of a D20, you can use two D10. If you wish to roll more for steps over leaves, then you can split the D20 up to a D12 for steps and a D8 for leaves. I'm really sorry about any previous confusion. If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask and I'll respond as soon as I possibly can.

@Lawyer Slip I'm not sure what you mean here, how come you are only able to roll one d12? If you missed some days you can roll multiple dice, right?

Hey, everyone!

I think there might have been confusion and I wanted to help clear that up. The obstacle is as long as you can respond to it. If you roll well, then you are able to continue with the race. If you exceed the roll, then you will be given the reward and be able to continue the race. The effects of the reward for rolling 17 or higher will last one post, before going back to normal. If you roll not so well and receive the penalty, then you slide into the sinkhole filled with chocolate cake mix and leaves. You'll be able to escape in the next posts or try to see how long it will take to make it out. However, when you make your roll for the next day, then you will be given the penalty roll that was stated. 

This is just in case for anyone that hasn't made their rolls yet toward the obstacle and afterwards. I'm really sorry for any and all confusion, everyone.

That’s okay and actually. Someone had brought this up, so this is a good idea to consider.

If anyone is unable to keep up with daily posting, then please don’t worry. Taking care of things irl, work, time zones and such can be difficult to make time to respond. If you are unable to respond, then you can respond the next day or when you have time. Just make sure to remember how many rolls you missed and then make all of those rolls in your next response. Please also note the you missed to avoid any potential confusion 

@Azure Dawn The obstacle that everyone had gone through was just the first. There may be one more or two or a few more than that. I can’t say as that would ruin the surprise, but the race is not over just yet.

Hey, everyone. I see there might have been some confusion as to what might have happened in the obstacle. 

The obstacle is designed that everyone in the race must help out three animals to calm down. There are multiple's of each animal, so it's okay if there might not be enough animals to calm down, or if other racer's have some of the same animals. Once you make your rolls on your response in regards to helping to calm the animals down, you gain three rolls that you can make against the tree. The fallen tree is something that cannot be jumped over and passed by. With there being numerous racers, the final obstacle is a team effort. 

You can then make those three rolls onto the tree to combine your scores together. If the combined rolls equal 100, then you'll be able to move the tree together and then you can proceed back onto the race course. For the next three days when being back on the race course, you can make your rolls based on what you got from calming the animals. If any of the rolls were 10 or below, then you make the 25% decrease on your roll. Same for if you roll a 11 to 16 to roll normally or a 17 and above to gain a 50% bonus when rolling.
