What are your favorite things about the forums?

I’m not sure if anyone else has ever made a similar post but, what are your favorite things about the forums?

The many different options (like the profiles), the fact that there are sections where you don't need to talk about MLP, you can talk about anything else and even post your art, and that everyone here is kind to each other, there isn't the drama we see on social media or the "coldness" I saw in other forums ~☆

Making my friends laugh. Especially, staff/former staff like @Ice Princess Silky <3, @Cash In @Treeglow Flicker  and

@Totally Nyx because they're so serious all the time.🧐/😜

I love how well developed and feature rich this forum is. It is a very well built up platform with a lot of history and good development under its belt by this point.

I say this as someone who spent the 2000's and 2000-teens on many old school php forums. Most of them are gone now, or tombs and over many years, none of them ever really took the time to add features and be both so thorough and well organized as MLP forums is. 

The moderation here seems to be balanced, fair and tempered but also firm. And that's more than most places on the net can say for themselves nowadays. Even though I am new, I am yet to experience any negativity at all. There also seems to be no over zealous gatekeepering either. This is not to be underrated.

I like how visual this place is and how decked out with fan art it is. It's great to see a hub of the fandom really trying to support the artists.

In trying to get back out of my shell and add a positive context to my life. MLP Forums is exactly what I was looking for!

I like the look and vibe of the place, and how easy it is to use - I love putting images in and you can just copy them over and not insert the bb code or w/e - that's so much better!

I like the profiles and the different feeds of info for blogs and I like the community events, even I'm not so much doing that these days

mane thing, though, is that it's active! plenty of ponies milling about here

Other than good behavior, there are no expectations. Sure we've had our debates over the show and what if scenarios, but I feel like you really get to decide just how involved you are without being rejected.

For example, some fans stopped watching after Lauren Faust's exit. Others after Season 3 with Twilight becoming a princess, after the first movie came out, etc.

Meanwhile, others joined having been fans of previous generations, and now even after the end of Friendship is Magic. Some joined the Fandom purely because they liked what they saw and wanted to be a part of the community, without having watched much of the show at all. Granted that number is significantly small, but they do exist!

Simply, if you come here with good intentions, you are welcomed.

First of all, the people!! It's super easy to make friends here; we all are the best thing about the forums in my opinion!! Second, the awesome staff!! Except the mods (just kidding, of course I love you guys too haha please don't hit me with the ban hammer). They've always been super kind and helpful and work hard to ensure we all have a great time! The UI is super intuitive as well, especially compared to other forums; it's very easy to find topics you're interested in. Also always loved the forever changing banner!
