Bowser 50 June 14, 2012 Share June 14, 2012 Has anypony ever noticed that scootaloo changed from a teenage pony to a kid pony form G3 to FIM. i don't get why this occurred is it because of time or is it because of coeincedence (not the best at spelling). then again i did hear that every pony in FIM is named after an older pony from the older generations (especially Pinkie Pie). The only thing they have in common might be elements like names, locations, or other things carried on by Hasbro, or whatever company owns the franchise. For instance, G4 Scootaloo shows much resemblance to G3 Scootaloo. Like, as you can tell already, Hasbro carried on the name onto the G4 character, as well as similar coat and mane colors. Let's take a look, shall we? *Nope, not going to post a picture of the horridness that is G3* As you can see, they do have similarities, but they are NOT the same character. Like I said, names and personalities are often used in multiple generations, but do not refer to the same exact character. So, no, they are not the same Scootaloo. Oh, and also note how G3 Cheerilee seems to be in the same age group as G3 Scoot.....yeah, think about that. 2 My journey in the fandom started on April 5, 2012. I joined here on April 24, 2012. Today's Scootaloo was named Scootaloo Jr, but then the mother died from an unknown case of cancer, then Scootaloo Jr became just Scootaloo. I don't kow why I came up with that, but that's the only way I can think of why Scootaloo now is a kid when Scootaloo then was a teen.
