Ghostie screamed out in rage at Discord's leaving, she hadn't known it had been him who did this to Shiny, and if she HAD known she would have made him eat his words...and cake. 

Where was Scorp when she really needed him, he had been off on another mission likely, but she really needed his help. ( @Lawyer Slip)

And here Trilby is, stuck in the middle, one of the few ponies left who hasn't eaten a single crumb of the cake. "Sweet Celestia, I did not sign up for ANY of this! I just wanted to be a judge and maybe advertise my hat store a little... Looks like it's just you and me now, Croissanto. Although, I wonder..."

Trilby leans in and whispers to his new, living puppet friend. "What do you say, Croissanto? Do you think if I challenge Discord to a comedy battle, he'll leave us all alone and fix all the damage he has caused? Playing the hero is not my style. I'm not a knight, I'm not one of Twilight's friends, but maybe... Maybe if I can put on a funnier show than Discord, I can earn his respect, and he'll leave this place in peace. Should I do it?" Trilby asks quietly, planning his next course of action.

"Sweet Celestia." Emerald Heart shook her head. "I hope everyone is alright." She said, oblivious to her own... situation. Her eyes changed color every three seconds, taking away her favorite part of herself. From blue to yellow to mauve to pink to red to black to... Oh, who could keep up? The one color they skipped was green. Emerald shifted awkwardly, unsure what to do or how to help. The one thing she knew that panic only made other ponies panic. So closed her eyes and took a deep breath. One color-changing eye popped opened and she motioned for others to hopefully follow her holdsteps. Calm down, then find a solution. "Princess Twilight's library could help." She muttered to herself.

Ghostie remembered, she had a tiny piece of cake too! She heard a sound like sparking metal, it was coming from just above her, she opened her eyes and saw her horn sparking with an almost electric force. 

She sputtered trying to make sense of things.

*S̵̛̞̻̤̫̹̟̬̀̀̃̋̋̎̿ḩ̸̛̽͋͋́̀͋̈́̕͠ȉ̶̳̺̦̣̤̝͌͋̕n̶̟̩̎y̸̡̲̦̥͍̩̰̏̐̅̈̎͒͛̋̇͌̃ caught on the fly Croissanto with one of her multiple black tentacles, after being thrown at her by @Discord as a distraction. It gave him enough time to disappear.*

S̵̛̞̻̤̫̹̟̬̀̀̃̋̋̎̿ḩ̸̛̽͋͋́̀͋̈́̕͠ȉ̶̳̺̦̣̤̝͌͋̕n̶̟̩̎y̸̡̲̦̥͍̩̰̏̐̅̈̎͒͛̋̇͌̃ : "hE diDn'T wAnT tø plAy." *Her voice was exactly like Shiny's but, in the same time, it was completely different. It was a creature trying to sound like the real Shiny.*

*Her huge spider legs clicked on the wooden floor of the stage, as she walked in a semicircle to turn around. Now that the God of Chaos wasn't there anymore, the monstrous pony turned her attention toward her friends as well as the crowd. S̵̛̞̻̤̫̹̟̬̀̀̃̋̋̎̿ḩ̸̛̽͋͋́̀͋̈́̕͠ȉ̶̳̺̦̣̤̝͌͋̕n̶̟̩̎y̸̡̲̦̥͍̩̰̏̐̅̈̎͒͛̋̇͌̃ was now facing them all with a wicked smile showcasing her sharp teeth.*

S̵̛̞̻̤̫̹̟̬̀̀̃̋̋̎̿ḩ̸̛̽͋͋́̀͋̈́̕͠ȉ̶̳̺̦̣̤̝͌͋̕n̶̟̩̎y̸̡̲̦̥͍̩̰̏̐̅̈̎͒͛̋̇͌̃ : "If iT's Nøt thE dRacøneQuUs, tHeN whø iS gøIng tO eNteRtaiN Me?" *The otherwordly beast murmured, a challenge for somepony brave enough (or stupid enough). Her presence in the event was threatening the safety of all the participants and spectators.*

Croissanto : "FIRE CAN GET HER TO KEEP HER DISTANCES FOR SOMETIMES AND SHE'S UNABLE TO CROSS A SOURCE OF WATER LIKE A RIVER!!!" *The croissant-shaped puppet yelled to everypony, revealing the weaknesses of S̵̛̞̻̤̫̹̟̬̀̀̃̋̋̎̿ḩ̸̛̽͋͋́̀͋̈́̕͠ȉ̶̳̺̦̣̤̝͌͋̕n̶̟̩̎y̸̡̲̦̥͍̩̰̏̐̅̈̎͒͛̋̇͌̃.*

*Suddenly, the tentacle holding Croissanto wrapped itself around his mouth which prevented him from telling more. Only muffled sounds came out of the puppet now.*

Titanium is just broken, staring at the unrelenting chaos that has befallen this once simple and fun goof off. Her mind twists and breaks, unfeeling, uncaring, staring ahead with a blank smile as her own mind betrays her. She does nothing, says nothing, just stares.

"But first! IIIIII think I'm going to need to get to a safe distance." With that, Discord vanished in a flash. His "prank" was finalised and he wasn't about to become food.

"?? Ah! Huh?! Who?! Where?! Crissy~!" Trilby reaches out. Before he knew it, his new friend was gone. Any conversation they were having was cut short. However, before he could give chase, Trilby feels a shiver run down his spine as a draconequus speaks into his ear. It was clear, Discord overheard his whispered conversation with Croissanto. "Great golden power rings!" He readies himself to face up against the chaotic mastermind, only to see him vanish. "No! DISCORD!!" Trilby calls out, reaching out to where he previously was. But it's too late, he's gone.

Trilby huffs. "You know, I am beginning to think I should have taken a drama class." Trilby thinks to himself before he goes to check on the others.

He barely heard what Croissanto said, but he did catch something about fire. "...Fire? I was just using fire a second ago. Oh Celestia, please let this work!"

Not wasting a second, Trilby runs over to his supplies. Digging through the cake, he finds it, his little propane torch. He used it earlier when he made a hat for Discord, giving it a lightly burned finished. "I really hope this works... I do this for you, Croisssanto. And Shiny too. And for all the hat sales I hope to make!"

Returning to Shiny's side, he gets her attention as best as he can. "H-h-HEY! SUPER SHINY! I have your entertainment right here. Straight from the mad hatter's theater!" Trilby is still shaking in his nonexistent boots, but still lights the propane torch. It's just a small blue flame. He doesn't aim it at any pony, but he holds it ups o Shiny can see it. "Come on, pony, light my fire~ Try to set the night on fire~" Trilby nervously says to himself as he slowly walks towards Shiny.

*It was so effective on the eldritch mare that she dropped Croissanto who safely landed thanks to the smooth material he was made of.*

Croissanto : "CAN YOU PONIES STOP THROWING ME- Ow! My soft croissant body!"

Emerald Heart, eyes still changing colors, runs after him. She closes her eyes and headbutts one of Shiny's spider legs. Emerald takes a brief moment to acknowledge Trilby, "Sweet Celestia." She rolls her eyes, turning around and bucking another one Shiny's legs. "You sweet, selfless fool."

*Destabilized by the assault of @Emerald Heart on her spider legs, the tall monstrousity that was now S̵̛̞̻̤̫̹̟̬̀̀̃̋̋̎̿ḩ̸̛̽͋͋́̀͋̈́̕͠ȉ̶̳̺̦̣̤̝͌͋̕n̶̟̩̎y̸̡̲̦̥͍̩̰̏̐̅̈̎͒͛̋̇͌̃ lost her balance. Normally, this wouldn't have done much to affect her stability, since she has 4 pairs of spider legs protected by chitin but, because of @Samurai Equine Trilby's distraction, she was already weakened.*

*The forces of the two ponies combined had the best of the eldritch unicorn! She stumbled into her own arachnid legs as she was backing up and felt directly onto one of the metal beams on the sides of the stage. The impact was enough for the heavy beam to fall onto S̵̛̞̻̤̫̹̟̬̀̀̃̋̋̎̿ḩ̸̛̽͋͋́̀͋̈́̕͠ȉ̶̳̺̦̣̤̝͌͋̕n̶̟̩̎y̸̡̲̦̥͍̩̰̏̐̅̈̎͒͛̋̇͌̃.*

*The otherworldly beast collapsed onto the wooden floor, breaking it partially, while some pieces of the decor also felt onto her.*

*Stuck underneath the metal object, she tried to move but it was too heavy even for her.*

S̵̛̞̻̤̫̹̟̬̀̀̃̋̋̎̿ḩ̸̛̽͋͋́̀͋̈́̕͠ȉ̶̳̺̦̣̤̝͌͋̕n̶̟̩̎y̸̡̲̦̥͍̩̰̏̐̅̈̎͒͛̋̇͌̃ : "cønGrAtuLaTiøn, fRiEnDs! yOu PrøøVeD yOurSeLf tø bE wøRtHy øppøNenTs. I sHaLl ReSt NøW." *She said to Trilby and Emerald, as if she wasn't bothered by the heavy metal ontop of her. In a similar way as what she was doing to mimic her own voice, she immitated the sounds of a crowd cheering them, with statics in the background.*

For some unknown reason, the fearsome monster extended, toward the artist, the last of her tentacles still free to move from underneath her. She dark appendage landed itself onto Titanium's shoulder.*

S̵̛̞̻̤̫̹̟̬̀̀̃̋̋̎̿ḩ̸̛̽͋͋́̀͋̈́̕͠ȉ̶̳̺̦̣̤̝͌͋̕n̶̟̩̎y̸̡̲̦̥͍̩̰̏̐̅̈̎͒͛̋̇͌̃ : "RiNg-a-rInG o' røSes, a PøcKet fUll of pøsiEs. A-tiShøø. A-tisHoO. We aLl fAll døWn." *The abomination started to sing to her in a reassuring manner.*

Trilby was touched to see both @Emerald Heart Emerald and @Dah Onion Eater  Ghostie doing their parts. Though he is a little surprised to see Shiny reaching out to @Wizard Titanium in a friendly way.

"Uh... Everypony? I think this is working. Does anypony have any candles? We could maybe just light a few and put them around Shiny for now. I have a draconequus to challenge." Trilby says, still holding his propane torch.

As Silky watches from afar all of the incidences occuring from Dynamo and Pinkie's event, she can see that he spirals out of control from the blue cake fiasco and she gasps in alarm at the weird emoji's coming out of Pinkie's mouth. How was that even possible?!

@Shiny Silvermoon had a completely different form. Discord made some sort of appearance -- probably due to the shenanigans of @Aticus the Adequate bringing him back! Seeing the other contestants react, she was rather appalled. There needed to be some order here! Feeling bad that some of the people had been splattered with cake, she noticed @Emerald Heart @ComanderZhabikKlavik Cimex, Titanium, Moonlight, Trilby Hatter and the like spiral completely out of their character.

But noticing the white little pony slowly losing her mind, Silky decided to fly down to see if she could assist in taming some of the madness surrounding.

"What is going on here?!" She swoops down gracefully, trotting through the crowd to check up on everyone. 

Everyone was trying to get Shiny back to normal. But Silky made her way towards the Titanium white pony that reminded her of a bus for some reason.
"Are you alright?! ---" 

More chaotic noises would abruptly shatter through and some of the cake would hit Silky on her face, closing her eyes just in time. She would wipe it away with her hoof. Some of the cake would slip into her mouth and she would lick some off of her lips as if to assist in its removal. "What a strange event this has turned out to be-- everyone here seems to be losing their minds!" her regal pose stands in place as she opens her eyes and her pupils dilate.

Standing next to the white bus pony person, she would lift her hoof to pat the pony's shoulder in a comforting manner. Assuring her at first. Normally, her eyes would be full of life and assurance but in this case, they had become dull and unfocused. Her vibrant color slightly dull and greyed out. "You are acting strange," she would suddenly say in an abrupt monotone as the rest of her color would drain away in a paler tone. 

"But then again, that is life, is it not? Always strange. Always with no meaning or purpose." With a slow inhale, she would release her exhale into a dull sigh.

O no. She had become... Star Sulk. 

"Worry not, little pony. You may suffer now. But you are not suffering alone. Such is life. Just meaningless chaos. But I am sure you have many... tails to tell about that, huh?" despite the monotone in her voice, she looked confused at Titanium's tail as though it had somehow doubled or looked like that of a duck's tail or something. 

[Dynamo Pad 11,682]

As a member of the audience appeared before him, Dynamo blinked in surprise as he didn't know this pony. However, it looked like she stood in front of him to try and defend him. "I really appreciate the help and I'm really sorry. I'd get up, but the poison joke affected my legs. I can't move or run, or I'd trip over all my hooves." He felt embarrassed with saying how this poison joke affected him, but he hoped he could get the use of his legs back soon. Looking over at Discord, the gaming unicorn had a look of confusion and an expression of uncertainty. He thought the draconequus would help, but saw that the master of chaos was lounging around admiring his work. "R-Really? Y-You can't change the situation to make sure that Shiny can change back?" He asks, his expression in disbelief at how Discord was handling the situation. He understood that the draconequus would play his tricks, but this looked like a serious situation that was on their hooves. He wanted to ask what they could do to help, but the words never came. Instead, his eyes shrank as Discord took his leave with a laugh. "D-D-Discord? Please come back. Y-You're joking, right? This is a part of your performance, right?" Dynamo chuckled nervously, a bead of sweat trickling down the side of his face. All the while, his heart was slowly beginning to race a mile a minute. "YOU'RE JOKING, RIGHT!?" He exclaimed, but unfortunately it wasn't a joke.

The gaming unicorn's eyes slowly traveled over to Shiny, who had mentioned that she could see from every direction. 'That isn't a good sign. Which means she could see anything from anywhere and/or everywhere. Without Discord, they were not in a good position.' Feeling himself being picked up, Dynamo looked over to @Dah Onion Eater  Ghostie, who had brought the gaming unicorn over in a safe corner. "W-Wait a minute. I don't know who you are, but you're helping me. Who are you? I-I want to try and help. I can't move with my legs, but I want to help. There's got to be a way that we can save Shiny, but what?" His mind raced as he tried to think of a solution, but nothing came to mind. Was it the effect of the poison joke, or was it mostly due to fear and worry taking over? He was broken out of his thoughts as Croissanto shouted out something to both him and the rest of those in the crowd. "F-Fire and water?" He asks, his eyes scanning the area for anything that could keep Shiny at bay. 'I do know a bit of fire elemental magic, but I don't know if I can aim without my legs slipping out from underneath me.' He thought, trying to think of a backup plan. He wondered if Pinkie or someone could grab any water that was available in the beverage stands as that could possibly help. 

Seeing Ghostie look back at him, the gaming unicorn couldn't help in titling his head in confusion. "S-Scorp? I hope you can forgive me, but who's Scorp?" He asks, before being picked up once more by Ghostie and being brought away, while looking for this Scorp. "Whoever this Scorp is, I hope that they show up. Do they have any fire or water magic that can help Shiny?" He asks, being placed down next to @Emerald Heart Emerald and @Wizard Titanium. Looking over to Shiny, it looked like she had been immobilized by a metal object with the combined effort of both Emerald and @Samurai Equine Trilby. As the group tried to figure out a solution to save Shiny, Dynamo looked over to Titanium, who looked distraught with a blank smile. "T-Titanium? A-Are you okay?" He asks, Dynamo's lip quivering slightly. "T-Titanium...? P-Please speak to me." He was growing more concerned from her lack of a response. Hearing a familiar voice, Dynamo cranes his neck to see that @Ice Princess Silky <3 Silky had made her appearance. "S-Silky? It's great to see you, but what are you doing here? This place has gotten dangerous and a little out of hoof." He had to admit that it was very out of hoof, but he hoped that he could find a solution. When Silky had checked on Titanium, Dynamo looked on in concern. "Titanium isn't responding. She looks a little out of it, but I just hope that Titanium will be okay." He says, watching as Silky had started making her way over as she stood next to the white bus pony. Hearing the tone in her voice, Dynamo blinked in surprise and shock as it looked like her color was slowly draining.

"S-Silky? W-What's happening?" He asks, wondering if the cake and poison joke had gotten to her too. "O-Oh, no..." Dynamo looked down, closing his eyes as he didn't know what to do. He couldn't move, he couldn't give a friend a hug, or help out in any way. The more he thought about it, the more useless he felt. 'T-There's got to be something I can do, but what?' He thought, his eyes welling up as tears slowly began to fall.

[Pinkie Pie 636]

With Dynamo tripping over his hooves and crashing into the wall, Pinkie closed her eyes to avoid watching the impact. Opening them once more, she winced as Dynamo was in a complete daze on the ground. "  " She tried to say, but more emoji's still had been unleashed. 'Oooooh! That looked painful. I guess that's what happens when you have two left hooves, or I guess four left hooves." She giggled, but only the emoji had escaped from her. 'I wish I could speak again, so that everypony could understand me, buuuuuut...I have to admit that talking in emoji faces is so much fun! All the faces that I can make! What I can talk to everypony about, but then everyone has to guess what I'm saying. I'll become the best charade's player, ever~!' She thought as she looked to the stage to see Shiny had taken on a different appearance. With her Pinkie senses going off that caused her to shiver slightly, the pink party pony knew that a doozy was taking place. "!!!!!" Was all that could be said. 'Everypony, don't panic! RUN!!!!!' She thought in her mind as she rushed around the area. All the while, bouncing like a pinball, before stopping in place to look at the panicking crowd. 'Anypony else want to scream and panic with me? No? Okay!' She stopped, trying to speak more emoji's before more screaming emoji's appeared. She tried to take cover, while also trying to get more water, treats and desserts to put a stop to Shiny. However, it looked as if Trilby and Emerald were able to immobilize the transformed unicorn. "" Pinkie responded, but looked around in thought. 'Phew! Looks like we're okay for now, but I wonder where Discord went off to. He sure left in a hurry, but it looked like everypony is looking for him. I wonder if he'll bring back the Smooze. I sure hope he does as that would get this Big Goof Off back up and running! That, and the Smooze sure knows how to PARTY!!!!' She grinned, before looking over to see a number of ponies were looking a little under the weather. She wondered if she could get her musical instruments to try and cheer everypony up.

With the sound of a snap and a poof, the master of chaos had made his return! All the while sitting in his big, red comfy chair and his empty glass of ice cold chocolate milk. "I can't believe I ran out of chocolate milk! Can you believe it?! I thought I'd return home to stock up on some pink fluffy cotton candy clouds, but nope! I'm fresh out of cotton candy. Oh, I do hope that somepony has some ice cold chocolate milk available in the stands. Maybe I can reverse engineer the milk in order to restock on chocolate milk for future chaotic fun! That, and to enjoy some chocolate milk in the process." Discord says, blinking in surprise as he took notice of what had happened to the surrounding area of the Big Goof Off. Everypony was in a panic, Shiny was still in her new form and other ponies were trying to calm her down after being immobilized. "Oh, for Celestia's sake! I was gone for a few seconds and I missed out on all of the fun?! Did nopony think to invite me?" Surely, it would be fun to sit back, relax and enjoy the show, no?" He asks, narrowing his eyebrows slightly as he felt hurt that he missed so much fun in such a short amount of time.

When it's over, I'll trust you all to bring the smiles back. But for now... Just let me do this." Trilby winks at Ghostie and gets ready to stand his ground.

Walking over, Trilby gives Dynamo a hug, and then does something unexpected. Taking his prized hat off his head, Trilby takes some things out of it, then puts his hat on Dynamo's head. "Hey, trust your buddy and your sponsor, good ol' Trilby. You know, once upon a time, in a forgotten town, I once knew a Japonies pony. Didn't care for him much, but he was a true hero. He could inspire an entire town into freindship. I ain't anything that amazing, but maybe I can at least get my hooves dirty so nopony else has to." With that and a nod, Trilby walk off.

"Fillies and Gentlecolts, this is Trilby Hatter, reporting live! I came here to be a judge, but for the sake of everyone's fun and laughter, I'm gonna do the thing I've been avoiding. I'm gonna compete. So get ready to cheer for me, okay?" Trilby says with a warm smile to the audience before steadying himself with steely determination.

Walking forward until he is center stage and taking a stand, Trilby faces up against @Discord. With all the determination he can muster, he points at the draconequus. "Discord! Ever since you came here, things have been CRAZY~! I feel like I'm howling at the moon, and sleeping in the middle of a summer afternoon. And that's why I have a simple question for you."
Trilby pauses a moment to put on a rainbow afro wig. "Discord, I challenge you... to a Goof-Off! If I manage to make you laugh, even a little, you have to change everything back to normal and be on your way. But if I fail... Then I'll crown you this year's champion of the goof-off, making you the silliest one here. So what do you say? Are you a grumpy guss, or is it showtime?" Trilby asks, concluding with a smirk.

While Saturn ran off and lit the propane over the candles and grabbed the water, it left Ghostie in a weird spot.

She decided to help the other struggling ponies and convince Emerald to help, although she was slightly distracted by the grating metal noises of her horn.

"Emerald, I need your help, we need to help Dynamo, Titanium and Silky, maybe if we can cheer them up it'll counter effect the poison joke!" She said to the purple pony with the color change eyes. 

She remembered the song Trillby was singing earlier, and decided to sing it. 

She sang: "Giggle at the ghosties, guffaw at the grossly, crack up at the creepy, woop it up with the weepy! Chortle at the kooky, snortle at the spooky!"

*Suddenly, stirred by the sight of @Discord who just reappeared, the gigantic and dark figure of S̶̻̠͂h̴͍̯͌̒ȋ̷̺̙n̶̤̞̕y̸̫̫̓ began to move underneath the pile of steel restraining her.*
