Let's talk about the supposed movie.

Yes, that movie.

The live action my little pony movie.

It's...well....

 

HAVE WE LEARNED NOTHING FROM PROJECTS LIKE THIS, HASBRO? DO YOU KNOW NOT THE RIDICULE THAT WAS THE ORIGINAL MARIO MOVIE?? HATH THEE NOT CONSIDERED THY SHAREHOLDERS? THEY'RE GONNA TAKE YOUR ELBOWS NEXT MAN

 

and before you begin to point at the hedgehog, let me remind you that what we have, was only possible due to fans, and fans wanting to please fans. Why? because they care, and we care.

 

Does hasbro care about us?

Well as long as we have money yeah.

But otherwise? No. No i don't TINK so pal.

There's only a handful of ways this can go, either we go the powerpuff girls movie route, or we could attempt, atleast attempt something reminiscent of who framed roger rabbit, or for younger people, chip n dale's movie from recent, WHICH DID HAVE MLP CHARACTERS WHICH WAS ACTUALLY KINDS COOL.

 

Or we could go full on one of those movies with real animals that they put voices over. Which hey, if this is the thing that happens, half of y'all reading this would give up on mlp altogether after it comes out.

But i can only see our best bets being the hybrid cgi and live action, but hopefully not the roadtrip with tiny cartoon animals kind. We dont need another chipmunks, or hop, and yes i know, paramount did it with sonic too but, cmon they were testing the waters a bit. 

 

I really don't want this to flop, like i REALLY don't, i practically just got here and everything is burning down. So let's just hope g5's abrupt end was but a small bump in the road, and this movie lets hasbro find their footing not only in the industry, but finally with the fans too, right? 

 

But if this does flop. Atleast we can view g5 in a more positive light, yeah?

 

Anyways, i wanted to just discuss, this so called, big budget live action film.

Whatever happens next, we do it together, kay? So til next time. Im going back to bed.
