writing Alone

I can't sleep at night anymore. I either lay here crying or think of her. I miss the way that she helped me at night, the way she helped with my night terrors. Now it seems like the demons inside of me will now win. I fear it...

Countless nights spent with you,
countless months in your embrace.

I could of spent oh so many more,
but we decided to split.

Now my nights are spent with tears,
wallowing in the sadness I put myself in.

I am fine during the day,
but at night I cry.

For it was at night you were here the most,
the time when you held me in your arms.

Now that you're gone,
I am completely alone.

The walls are closing in on me,
the voices scream for a change.

My heart aches for your touch,
but I know it shall never come.

I need to be held again,
the demons are taking over my mind.

I am so alone...
I need company so bad.

Passing out doesn't work for me anymore,
I just think of being alone.

I need someone to help me at all times,
for someone to be there.

For the person who had done this hath left me,
and I have been left with nothing.

The broken heart here lies beating,
but it does so with pain.

This tear soaked bed cannot take much more of this,
I need by head to be cleared.

I even snapped at the one closest to me,
and now I fear she hates me.

Secretly and truly,
I believe she wishes to talk to me less and less.

And it is all my fault,
it is I who is to blame.

I wish I could sleep without feeling this pain,
I was I could just close my eyes and escape this hell.

But I must sit here alone,
and I must face this alone.

For there is not a soul who will be here,
no one to keep me company.

The walls shall now close in on me,
and my despair shall be complete.

I am now alone,
so completely alone...
