"Just be lucky that you're alive and kickin'," Carrick looked at her. He felt like telling her that what she did was a pretty stupid move, but right now wasn't a good time. It's better to have her body and mind relax for now.

Daeva started coughing blood all over the floor, it was red and it wasn't a good sign.

 

"I don't think I'll make it unless somepony heals me up somehow.." she mumbled as more blood started leaking out from the corner of her mouth.

When they touched down on the mountain it became increasingly clear that Blaze would be useless. He had always been useless in cold and wet weather, it always rendered his fire magic useless, he was so used to heat that when he felt cold it made him almost instantly go into hypothermia. So standing behind all of the other ponies as an evil pony issued her threat to the group and instigated a battle, Blaze was little more than a frozen statue. Starbolts heat spell began to thaw out Blaze and he returned to normal. "Brrr.... Sorry I was useless in the battle guys, I cant operate in the cold" Said Blaze. "Oh, and Starbolt thanks for casting a heat spell. I dont feel very good."

Starbolt paniced at the sight of Daeva bleeding.

"Hang on Daeva." As Starbolt as a cocooned Daeva in a bright magical light.

Starbolt put all her effort into the spell.

The spell ended and Daeva was no longer bleeding. Satisfied that Daeva was fine, Starbolt passed out.

"Trixie might have something," Thunder yelled as he flew in with Trixie in his hoofs. "Now if you'll excuse me," he said darkly before pulling out a mini stormcloud and flying back out to meet the hooded pony.

Blaze walked over to Starbolt and propped her head up with a mound of snow. He then opened his Saddle Bag and retrieved his elixer, he uncorked the bottle and used his magic to open Starbolt's mouth slightly, he then poured the MP elixer down her throat, Corked the bottle again and put it back in his pack.

"Wait, Thunder!" Carrick said, "that pony is long gone now. We probably won't see her until we go back on the path. Let's retreated and plan for another attack."

 

 

Carrick looked at the comrades. Blaze who couldn't do much since he's a fire-based magic pony. Starbolt who had to be healed after she healed Daeva. Ponyborn, who was able to help him distract the hooded pony to go for his small attack. Thunder, who was a bit late for the retrieval attempted with Trixie and....Daeva. The one pony who got the group into a big heap of trouble.

 

"Well, now a best time to relax again. I don't think we'll have to worry about her...yet." Carrick said.

Daeva's bleeding was gone but she saw Starbolt lying on the floor unconscious, she flew over and picked her up.

 

"Hey Carrick, please tell me she's going to be fine." she asked Carrick.

 

"Why did you do this to yourself.." whispered Daeva as she hugged her.

"Put her down Daeva, She will be fine, she just exausted more MP then she should have. MP is equal to the stamina of a normal pony, if you overexaust it it you can pass out, or even die in some cases. But I just used my MP elixer on her, she should be coming to any second now." Blaze explained

Carrick looked over at Starbolt, he really didn't think too much. Overuse of any power be it magic, energy, or physical can you get you unconsciousness if overused too much"Yeah, what Blaze said." Carrick said.

 

Carrick looked over at the outside of the cave. The storm has calmed down profusely. Seems like that pony lost a lot of energy in that battle. An attack would of been a great idea if it weren't for our the team's battle wounds. Carrick was still ready to go for another bout, but to fight a pony who can manipulate snow would need some sort of plan. He sat down and wrote down notes...

"Which brings me to my next problem, that was my last elixer and I am dangerously low on MP if I wasnt I would have been able to cast a heat spell myself to keep me warm. Teleporting all of us out of the train pushed my MP to the limit. So I dont know how much help I will be in a battle right now." Blaze admited

Daeva started pacing around the cave as she was thinking what they should do next..

 

"What should we do now, Carrick? Starbolt doesn't look that good.. Is she going to be fine?" she asked as she started to get worried..

"Hay, do your ears decieve you or are they just filled with wax? I just told you that she will be fine. She overexausted her MP she should have told me sooner that she was so low on Magic Power and I would have used my elixer on her." Blaze said annoyed that she was not listening.

"Blaze, calm down." Carrick placed both his hooves on her shoulder, "Daeva, I give you my word that she is fine. She just needs rest, that's all" Carrick said. Carrick then quickly turned back to his notes "we don't have a full team. Right now only Me, Ponyborn, and Thunder can go on the offensive. It would be good idea if we knew where she was however, that storm is still hard to get a good view."

 

"Right now, all we can do is regroup and plan a form of attack. Even if we're still in a weaker state, we've seen what she can do. We just need go from there."

"I might be able to help... but what I am about to suggest is risky. I dont exactly know why I packed this..." Reaching into his saddlebag and revealing a flask "... but I did. I have a full flask of Cidertini, it will replenish my MP if I drink it but I will be... incoherant" Blaze suggested.

Starbolt began to regain consciousness she sat up. "Ugh, what happened?" She said feeling nauseous.

She remembered what happened. "Daeva?! Is she alright?!" She said panicked, worried that her magic didn't work.

"Well isn't that something." Carrick said, he gave an heh under his breath. "She's fine, she has been worry about you." Carrick pointed to Daeva.

 

Carrick went back to the matter at hand, the cidertini. The memories of the incident from the bar were slight blurry. However, the bar fight was still resonated in his brain. He rubbed his chin "Would you get enough magic power to fight somepony that has big advantage not only in terrain, but in element magic?"

"Thank Celestia. I wasn't even sure my magic would be strong enough to heal you, I'm glad you're fine." Said Starbolt towards Daeva.

"I'm pretty sure Blaze can defeat this Ice Star pony." She said confident in Blaze's abilities.

'I wonder how this will end.' She thought.

"I am a specialist in elemental magic, but I am told that when I am drunk I fight in a... unorthodox fashion." Blaze explained. He rememberd a fight he got in the first time he was drunk, he fought a noble who claimed he was better at magic then he was. It was over in two spells. "But when I am inhebriated I am very unpredictable which makes me think that if we do decide to go through with the cidertini plan we should wait until we are positive that we will need my help" Blaze said.

"I don't think that was Ice Star," Carrick shook his head. "guess you can call it a feeling in my gut. That just seemed like...one of Ice Star's commanders."

 

He mentally heard the piano in his head, than it abruptly ended. "Plus, I don't think that Ice Star would be here. He has bigger plans...I'm sure of it. Regardless, the plan..." Carrick read the notes once again. To create a plan to fight a pony, he knew that she was weak physically. Least for a commander, but with the magic powers to create snowstorms is something that becomes a problem. If there was a way to at least have a good sight, there might be a way to break through. Starbolt might be able to create a better vision, but even if do go into an offensive stand. She has immense magic powers, enough to block off Daeva's demon powers.

 

Carrick shook his head, "I know she doesn't have a strong body, she just have strong magic. Maybe if I was able to get a into a hoof to hoof combat. This could end, but that's practically impossible unless we go right now and find her." Carrick rubbed his chin, he started to think more...

"I could be as silent as a feather if I wanted though I usually do things aggressively whenever I can, if you want me to I could sneak up to her and take her down by twisting her neck right off. Though I doubt it'll be easy to get that close up to her without her noticing." she said as she continued..

 

"After the blast she should be weaker than before so all we have to do is gang up on her one more time without detection and we should be able to finish her off."

 

"Hey Blaze, do you think you could turn me invisible so I can sneak up to that bastard?" she asked Blaze.

 

Daeva's demon powers were low and it would take days for her to recover after using so much of it not long ago.

"Maybe Blaze and I can overpower her magic?" Starbolt suggested.

'I wonder if I can contain her in a barrier if Blaze helps me.' She thought as she sat down still dizzy from casting the healing spell on Daeva.

"Should we get moving or are we going to take a rest in this cave?" Daeva asked Carrick.

 

All Daeva wanted was to defeat that pony, then maybe live a normal life with a special somepony but she said to herself..

 

"I suppose that will just have to wait.."

"I do know invisibility runes, but I would have to physically inscribe them into your flesh like a tattoo, for the runic circle to retain its power" Blaze answered. "I didnt actually get to see our assailant, I was too busy freezing to death, but I do believe that there is no opponent that is invincible, so Yes we should be able to overpower her with our magic." Blaze said.

"Is the tattoo going to be permanent or is there a way to take it off?" she asked Blaze as she added.. "How does this spell work after it's casted, do you have to continuously cast it every now and then to keep it working or is it permanent?" Daeva also had one more question before she stops talking.. "Is this spell dangerous, does it have any side effects?"

 

Daeva has a lot more questions but that's the main things she's wondering about.
