He puts a hoof on her shoulder, and in a voice only she could hear, says, "Star bolt, I know your worried, but you need to put that energy to use elsewhere. Rushing is not only reckless, it's dangerous to you, me, Carrick, and everypony else. This is why we're going slow, because Blaze is still thinking about what to do next," he looks at her compassionately,"You're much stronger than me emotionally. I would've already flown to Wings if he was captured. Please, just bear with us." He pats her shoulder and steps back, "You ready?"

What Quick said seemed to Calm Starbolt down. "I guess you're right, and yes I'm ready." She said in a calmer tone.

Fae silently thanked Quick to what he said to Starbolt.

The conversation that was flowing between the group went from fighting to embarrassment in a matter of seconds. "Shut up Quick." Blaze said, even though blushing did not show from his read coat you could tell he was. "Anyway we are about there" He said as he turned the corner, there was a street sign that said "uptown". Blaze began to look around. The odd thing was that it seemed pretty lackadaisical, orderly, and clean. Not very many ponies passed by, and the streets leading to uptown were worse than the uptowns streets themselves. Everything seemed newly paved. Big office building surrounded them, gas powered lanterns were now magic powered lanterns. "Wow, not what I was expecting" Blaze said.

"Just call it informed instinct. I knew Carrick had found something. A filing cabinet was ajar and one of the files misplaced from the alphabetical order. I read the file and it was specific statistics of missing ponies in this part of town. Something is happening here, and if I was Carrick this is where I would take the case next." Blaze said as they walked passed the department store.

Quick quickly flew in, bought the garment, bagged it, and flew out after them grinning, Me and Wings, when this is over... We're gunna have a LOT of fun. *Mental giggle* I'ma take him to a special place I know, on the shores of Eathoof, Mane. It'll be, the best day of my life.

Starbolt looked around. She saw a hooded pony on the roof nearby. The pony didn't seem to notice that he's been spotted.

"Fae go for him." She whispered to Fae.

Fae went invisible and flew behind the pony. She cast a snare spell summoning several roots grabbing the hooded pony immobilizing him. Fae knocked him off the roof but slowed his fall to a painful but non lethal fall with her magic.

Starbolt approached the hooded pony studying the hood. Obviously one of Ice Star's minions. She readied her magic.

"Where is Carrick." She said in a menacing tone.

Hypno watched at Star had knocked a hooded pony off a roof. Hypno, still twirling the knife around, walked over. He looked at the pony waiting for the answer. Wondering if he should use his magic to help the pony spill it.

"WHAT IN THE HOOF" The pony yelled as he was assaulted. "A PONY CAN'T TAKE A BREAK THESE DAY'S WITHOUT GETTING ASSAULTED?" The pony yelled outraged. He had no idea what, who, where, when or why but he was pissed. "So you mean you are not a guard of some sort sent by Ice Star?" Blaze asked "WHAT?! NO!" The pony was angry now.

 

Blaze checked his hood, there was no quote inside, just a normal hood. "Hmph, I guess he was telling the truth"

Hypno sidestepped over to Blaze, and nudged him in the shoulder. "I-I-I can still eat him right?" He asked confused, looking at Blaze for permission to drink and kill the pony in front of him.

Fae still held the pony with her magic waiting for Starbolt's decision.

Starbolt was confused and paranoid. Maybe it was the attack or just for exhaustion. She stepped back unsure of what to do.

"Awweee" Hypno said with a pout-y face as he backed away from the pony and walked back, the knife still hovering in a circle around him. He watched it to keep him entertained and to keep his mind off of blood.

"Okay, let's go." She said to Blaze. 'Focus Starbolt you almost killed an innocent pony.' She thought to herself.

They went back to the street and continued to walk through the uptown area, taking in each and every sight. There are way too many businesses around here, and I can already tell that the majority of them are going to have little to nothing to do with the General. How can we figure out where he is hiding? Come on Blaze think, what would Carrick do? Blaze thought. "Hmph" Blaze let out a flustered exhale.

Hypno started to panic. He knew Snow wouldn't accept what he was going to ask. So he thought he could either hunt down one of the minions ice star controls, or he could find a innocent mare to drain dry.

Blaze knew hypno was at the end of his rope. He had to think of something and fast. They were passing what looked like an abandoned hospital. The windows were boarded up and no carriages were parked out front. The shrubbery and lawn were all dead, and parts of the building were falling apart. They were about to walk passed when an idea formulated in Blaze's brain. He quickly ran up to the boarded up doorway and used a forceful telekinesis spell to break open the door. "Come on" Blaze said to the other ponies who at this point were just standing outside with odd looks on their faces.

"What are we doing here?" Starbolt asked Blaze unaware of Hypno's condition.

She followed the group lighting the dark hall of the hospital with her magic.

Hypno was unsure if Blaze was looking for bloodbags now. Even if he did find any, he didn't know how much longer a old non fresh bloodbag could keep him. If he were to drink from a pony it could sustain him for much longer. He followed Blaze, but his mind started to make him lust for biting a pony, and not even try to fight it and get to a alternative.

"You will see," Blaze said. He began searching different rooms one right after the other looking for something. It was not until about the 8th room that he found what he was looking for. Inside a cabinet were empty thick plastic bags, that had surgical tubing connected to them. Empty blood bags, jackpot. Blaze thought.

Hypno followed Blaze as he went on his search. He was trying to find out what Blaze was going to do. Then he thought that maybe Blaze was going to fill his own blood in the empty bags or something of the sort.

Seeing the blood packs Starbolt understood what they were doing. She took a step away from Hypno.

"They are empty. What are going to do with those." She asked Blaze.

Fae knew what Starbolt was worried about and already started to prepar to cast a spell.
