Is it worth watching for someone who, despite being a huge Christopher Nolan fan, absolutely hated Batman Begins and TDK? Sorry, but I honestly think that Christian Bale is a horrible Batman.

In the weirdest way, it's almost not a Batman movie. It's more like a Gotham movie, with Batman in it. He appears, yeah, but often he's not really the center of attention, or the main force for solving problems.

So yeah, I was basically at the theater for almost 12 hours on Thursday. First, I got there at 4:00 P.M. (first person in the theater, so awesome!!!!) to watch "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" again as part of my movie theater's "Dark Knight Marathon" before finally seeing "The Dark Knight Rises" at 12:00. So, was it worth it? Well, I'm not gonna lie... TDKR was my favorite in the whole series!!!! B) This is, without a doubt, irrevocably, undeniably, a FREAKING FANTASTIC MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET, GO SEE IT AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!! :)

As for the tragic shootings in Colorado on Friday night, my prayers and deepest sympathies go out to all of the victims and their families. May God bless you and keep you in this terrible time of sorrow and pain. :(

Thanks, maybe I'll check it out then. It's not even that I think that Bale is a horrible Batman, but more that I just HATE HATE HATE his Bat Voice. It yanks me right out of the immersion and scrapes at my nerves like a cheese grater.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Even though it's been a while since I saw TDK it didn't matter as I remembered the important parts when the movie started. What was really memorable for me was that they had the sound turned up really loud in the cinema and that just added to the experience and made me love it so much more, especially when they played the Batman theme. Defiantly much better then the Spiderman movie In my opinion but batman is my favorite superhero.

I liked the Dark Knight Rises. The fight scenes were pretty neat, and it had the usual fantastic soundtrack that Batman always has. Also, there were some comic references that I enjoyed. There were the usual problems of Batman's ridiculous gravelly voice, and Bane's mask was a bit silly (He could turn it inside out and wear it as underpants). But overall, it was a nice end to the trilogy.

I was going to see Batman, but I wanted to wait for the crowds to die down.

Sadistic humor aside, I want to see it but the cost of movies is too high for me. I'd rather watch something on Netflix than spend $11 for a ticket, $5 for popcorn, $3 for soda, and more for candy.

Hows about you be smart and see a value showing for around $6, which is usually the first showing of the day. Then all you have to do is sneak in ur snacks and drinks. You now have seen TDKR for cheaper than netflix

The only theater near my house has literally NO value showings and the mini-mart next door has the exact same stuff fir the same price. You've obviously never seen a movie in a rural-ish community.

There's 1 movie theater near me and I don't have any form of income for money. Except for lawnwork for my grandparents but I see them twice a year.

Why dont you ask around your neighborhood to see if theres anything you can do to earn some money, or even just ask your parents

I mostly went to see it because I'm totally in love with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy's an amazing actor.

It was better than I thought it would be :)

I just got back from watching this about 30 minutes ago. Aside from the rudeness of some of the audience members, This has been one of the greatest superhero movies I have ever seen! I've been waiting to see this movie since it was first announced and I knew it was going to be good but Dark Kight Rises completely exceeded all of my expectations. There are more trademark characters that make appearences and more awsum batman stuff! When i get back from vacation, I am going to play Batman Arkham City until my thumbs fall off or the analog sticks break.

If you haven't seen this movie yet, I Demand You to Watch it Immediatly!

Great movie, a totally awesome ride for sure. It was almost a little too long for me and I'm not sure if I'm too satisfied with how they wrapped it up, but it really was a fantastic piece of cinema and is for certain a must-see. :)

I kinda felt like it was a bit taboo to go to batman after the shootings and everything. But I saw it and I did think it was a really good movie. I thought how they wrapped up the series was good. And I really loved Banes voice.

I don't want to be a party pooper or anything, but I think for this one you can get a resounding "Too soon."
