It's not that big of a deal. I watched this a while ago and I thought it was funny. Nothing to get upset over. You should all learn to laugh at yourselves once in a while; if someone says Bronies and Pegasisters are furries don't get your panties in a bunch about it if you know it isn't true. Also, that's what Howard Stern does. He over exaggerates. Nothing he said about us is true (or completely true). Luckily for you, not many people listen to radio shows anymore, and even if they did not many people will even care what he said about Bronies 6 months from now.

I was wondering if any of my fellow bronies have seen the video on YouTube of Howard stern ripping on the bronies at bronycon. The interviewer just happen to interview the dark side of the community, the cloppers. That's not to say what he said about the cloppers was wrong (I 100% agree with him) but I don't like how he believes that the whole fandom is like this!

it's a shame he has to resort to such awful misrepresentation (like most of the new's today) to be bale to get people to listen to his show

Ahhh, the Stern clip. I began watching this a few days ago. I had always heard that he talked smack on us, but decided to hear it for myself.

I couldn't finish it.

That 14 minute video is probably the largest concentration of ignorance, arrogance, and flat out stupidity I've ever heard. Heck, after I told one of my closer friends I was a Brony, he didn't speak to me for days because of that right there.

It's sad and, well, rather pathetic that man of such fame and stature will stoop so low as to... THIS.

Looking deeper into all of his "arguments," and other baseless claims, it seems like theres only one thing to be proven by this video:

I gotta be honest, I do love Howard Stern and he really is entertaining when I listen to him in the mornings with his crude humor on current events. However, I actually sat through the entirety of this clip and... Well, my opinion of him just changed because I at first, never truly realized what he does with the show he runs. He was just nitpicking on the central view that a Brony is someone who is the definition of a loser with no job, no girlfriend, lives with his parents, and pleasures himself to the anatomy of a cartoon pony. That's practically the 15% of the Brony community versus the 85% that isn't like that. (Don't take my word on the stats for it, this is just what I felt it was like..) I liked listening to Howard Stern because he just pokes fun at some of the things in current events, but this... This was just straight up hooey that he was spitting out over the air.

 

I am a 21 year old man living on my own working as a United States Marine, one of the most respected organizations in America, and have been doing it for 3 years, 3 years already spent serving to defend my country so others can say what they want and do the things they want. To many, they would find a person like this inspiring, but it turns out that I enjoy watching My Little Pony: FiM. So, because of that last part, it automatically makes me a weird and strange individual. Big surprise: we are ALL strange, except that I don't pleasure myself to the image of a pony (That doesn't mean I judge you if you do, but that is your business.), I don't have a girlfriend at the moment because my job is more important than a relationship especially since now I'm going to transition back to a civilian life after my 4th year in the military is done, and I like the show because the characters are very relate-able even if they are ponies.

 

I know that saying all of this is pointless because he most likely won't read something like this or anything, but I still felt the need to address it somewhere. I seriously liked Howard Stern, but now he just lost another listener because of this drivel.

I still love Stern...he has gone too far on occasion but this is who he is. I love him for his work with freedom of speech and how he fought back on the FCC. I love him on Sirius because for the most part those jackasses in the FCC can't do anything now

 

But again...forget that I love the guy...seriously bronies? Why care what he thinks? He has millions of paying listeners....why care what they think? If 99% of the world hated bronies or thought this was how bronies were...I'd STILL be a brony and I just wouldn't care

Well the way I look at it, if he's that focused on the cloppers, it's probably because he's interested in it himself. I almost wish I could've asked him that, but unfortunately I wasn't there. But it does give one something to think about...
