Well since I was really bored I wanted to see what I could make in MS Paint. But to make it even funnier, I actually used the Windows 95 verision of MS Paint. (I downloaded it from somewhere)

I was going to make it a bit serious, but I got tired and didn't want to finish it. Haha. (I was going to make it more detailed but nope)

Anyways, here it is: BTW, Yeah I made him a little colt because that is just adorable :3

As said, this is not finished, but I am way too lazy to finish it. And I always think it's boring to continue on drawings another day.

He's really cute, looks like a little colt.

Yeah, that was the point. Maybe I should have added that up there..

He looks very cute and this looks pretty well done especially sine you used 95' ms paint. Good job :)

Last I remember using windows 95 MS Paint, it's not that much greater than newer versions. It still has the same infamously basic tools.

I dunno about 'well done for MS paint'. As a program for digital painting, sure. There's definitely effort put in to try to make use of what little MS paint can offer, but I believe that making great art has more to do with working with what you're given, not what you're given. This *could* have been more than a pony at a cliff with clouds. Maybe there could have been trees, or anything else we could come up with to make the piece less empty.

Considering how basic MS paint's tools are, it's best used for creating pixel art, and pixel art is a medium that works with the very basic tools that MS paint is infamous for only providing. Wanna make something awesome with MS paint? Learn pixel art. Look at what I made for instance :P

Whenever i'm working on a picture, i like to use photoshop. With photoshop, i could easily zoom in on what i need to color and i can't really mess up. With paint, it's kinda of hard for me to color something in since it can really be difficult to use. I got better at photoshop since i took a graphic arts class last year and now it helped me with it. I still use MS paint, but i only will use it if i really need to use it for something specific

I've already seen your video and pixel art isn't really my thing :)

..And as said above, I was too lazy to finish it. I was actually going to make bushes, maybe a tree and of course more details.

That's a very cute painting you did there! I could never do that on a computer... Anyway, that's the best I've seen from you... Wait, have you ever posted art before? I can't remember. :P

...windows 95. God that takes me back to the really old grey blocked computers. If I recall there really wasn't a huge improvement from that version to the ones of today. Even so, using MS Paint is a strange venture to go into since free programming like GIMP and Paint Tool SAI offer many different tools that imitate those of Photoshop.

The image itself though. It looks really fuzzy. I won't say much to that since I've seen some people have a weird preference to that fuzz, but try and optimize it so the background noise doesn't accidentally drown out your figure in the picture. As for the figure you should clean up some of those jaggies in the pixels to make it look a bit smoother.

Well I don't have windows 95, I just downloaded the old paint program because I was bored.

I already have Paint.NET, GIMP, Photoshop, SAI and many other programs. I just felt for using this, hah.

Also, I already know what I can make better, I am just too lazy to do it. :P

I love it. Too cute!

Thanks!

Windows 95 paint? I'm surprised that a download of that worked on a modern Windows version -- especially because it was linked against an OS version that preceded the Windows-NT Kernel series. Unless you were running it in Windows XP/Vista's compatibility mode? I'm curious to know because if you were able to get it to run in Win7 without a VM then I'd definitely love to hear how you did it so I can do the same with 95's paint and a couple other utilities that Microsoft stopped including after winME :)

As for the the art at hand, cute little drawing :)

Shameless plug/thread derailer? It's honestly a bit stuck up to keep posting your speedpaint videos and claiming your pixel art is "awesome" every chance you get...

There's a lot of other types of art you can make in MS Paint that aren't Pixel Art -- Oekaki, Vexel art, etc. This would fall more into the Oekaki category. You don't need to draw pixel art in MS Paint to make something awesome.
