Post (if you can remember) every concert and/or festival you've been to

Sheryl Crow - I was about 7 or 8 - she performed at some park at Michigan State University during the Oldsmobile 100th Anniversary festival

Barry Manilow - Think I was 9 or 10 - Fox Theater Detroit, MI - dragged to it by my parents

Eve 6 - Think I was 10 - Michigan State Fairgrounds - my best friend at the time really liked them so our parents took us to the fair the night they were performing

Spice Girls - 2008 - Palace of Auburn Hills, Auburn Hills, MI - Spice Girls reunion tour awww yeah. I went with two girls and was probably one of 20 guys there but it was a blast. I was Sporty Spice. >_>

Britney Spears - 2009 - Schottenstein Center, Ohio State University, Columbus, OH - dang Britney put on a show, again see above

Muse - March 2010 - Palace of Auburn Hills, Auburn Hills, MI - My favorite concert to date. I went with a good friend and we had an amazing time. Loved it loved it loved it.

Muse - October 2010 - Schottenstein Center, Ohio State University, Columbus, OH - drove 4 hours from Ann Arbor, MI for this one with 2 friends. Not as awesome as the previous one, but it was still pretty awesome because duh, it's Muse.

Jon Secada - 2011 - Caesars Windsor Hotel/Casino, Windsor, Ontario, Canada - had free tickets and my parents and I like to gamble from time to time and he was a favorite of my mom's so why not? For being older, Jonny still had the magic.

What's your concert experiences?

-Every year (since 2007, as far as I can remember) I attended a concert/gathering for the Ethiopian New Year.

-Devin Townsend at the Toronto Opera House, December 10th 2011. First proper concert, bought a tour shirt. Still one of the greatest memories ever.

That's about it. Yeah. I've been trying to go to more concerts, but they're either for people of legal age; 19 or older, or on a school night, or both. Which is a shitty inconvienience, because Devy's coming back to the Opera House in September, on a Wednesday, during a school night. :(

Hilary Duff. Not kidding, she was at the fair here in Washington State when I was about 14 and I got free tickets to go see it. Can't say I didn't like it but also not a fan of it either.

Aside from that I've been to Hell's Kitchen a couple times to listen to some bands (including my cousin's band which is why we went there in the first place)

Oh god. Oh man. Oh shit.

I seriously have so many flyer files saved it's ridiculous. I've been to hundreds of local shows over the last 11 years.

Have an older one.

Yes sir. The only reason I don't have older files is because I didn't get internet in my house until I was 18. I was 19 in '06.

...That's fucking weird to think about. Anyway, more fliers.

Despite my metal love, I have my roots in jam bands.

My concert history -

  • moe. (3x, cheap tickets. Relatively unknown band)
  • Phish
  • Buckethead
  • Primus
And I'm seeing Deftones and S.O.A.D in August. Though I wanna see some more metal shows in the future.

I HAD TO FALL TO LOSE IT ALL BUT IN THE END IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER /WRISTS

My concert experiences are:

Streetlight Manifesto - March 2011

Chicago - December 2011

Funny that I had never been to one before, and then I end up seeing two in the same year! Also funny that Streetlight Manifesto is easily the 'loudest' band I listen to.

They were both awesome, though. I wouldn't have picked any other two bands to go see.

Seen Bombay Bicycle Club in Plymouth in April, just been to Chagstock Festival, both were amazing.

But the real treat is that I get to go see Blur in Plymouth on August 7.

I've only seen The Afters and Switchfoot. Both were really good, and I got to shake hands with each member of The Afters, and got their signatures on a poster. I thought that was pretty cool. I liked them both because they sounded pretty much the same as they do on ones iPod/Radio.

I was going to see John Mayer on May 4th, but unfortunately he cancelled his ENTIRE TOUR due to his granuloma. Hopefully he gets better, because I would really like to see him in concert because he is great at improvisation on guitar and makes his songs sound different yet the same.

If anyone has been to a concert share your experience! If you have any photos, videos, etc. of the time that you went post em' here! Share all the concerts that you have gone to!

I went to see Airbourne live @ Atlanta in 2010 here is a video I took m/ Bullet For My Valentine also played after Airbourne! I want Airbourne to come back to the States so bad xD!! they both rocked!

I saw AC/DC back in 2009 took a video of them playing Dog Eat Dog! - Probably the best concert I have been to alongside to the Iron Maiden Concert I went to this Summer

Back in 2007 I got to see Red, 3 Days Grace, Seether, and Breaking Benjamin' that was my very first concert when I was a freshman in High School. I loved it great concert.

The most recent concert I have been to I got to see Alice Cooper & Iron Maiden back in June 2012

So start sharing your experiences :D!

I went to a Lost Dogs concert once because my Guitar teacher footed the bill for his students. That's about it. I'd like to go to a country concert someday though.

-The Sounds Of Violence Tour: Onslaught and M:Pire of Evil (aka shitty Venom) at the Annex Wreck Room), April 3rd, 2012. Second concert I've been to (that I won in a contest to see for free!) but I couldn't even get entrance to the venue since I was a minor. I bargained with the club owner, and he compensated me by allowing me to buy a tour t-shirt that I wear daily and still have hung up in my room. The next day, I barely passed a marketing test. :P

Meanwhile, a few days ago I went over to see Korpiklaani on the Manala World Tour at the Opera House. I've already written a blog about it, but to give you the main jist of it, Metsatoll deserved a better crowd, Tyr was the best band performance wise, Moonsorrow was epic and Korpiklaani ruled.

Hello , We actually already have a discussion thread for folks to list all of the concerts/festival that they have gone to. That was basically the same thing as your thread, so I've merged them to keep the discussion centralized in one place.

I hope you don't mind :)
