Yo, so what's up everypony? Today, I have for you another piano cover. I decided to spend today recording this so I could upload it as my 200th post and become a butterfly!

I cannot believe how active I have been on these forums, for only have been here a bit short of 2 weeks. I was expecting to join, and then it be like other forums, and me barely ever post. I had no idea how amazing our community really is!

You guys are my best friends and family, I love how kind and compassionate our fanbase is. <3

But anyways, back to the point.

Here is my piano cover of Art of the Dress from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic S1E14.

It was played on my shitty MIDI keyboard, recorded in Cubase LE, and uses CVPiano Modeled VST

Now, I know that some notes are skipped and that makes it sound bad sometimes, I apologize. For some reason, either my VST or my recording program cuts out repeating notes, no matter what channel I put the tracks on, what voice I use, or how I export the files. Just please, bear with me for the time being while I try to figure that out.

So, enjoy, and let me know what you think or what you want me to cover in the future!

I'll give some opinions on this.

In this piece, the melody was either being drowned out, or being too overbearing. I think it's because instead of the "vocal" part being the high part of the song, it was low. I really don't think that the voice parts should be low, because when playing bass notes, it can often grow in "power" and be pretty loud.

Now again, your actually a pretty good piano player. I still don't here much dynamics in this, but I'm not sure if MIDI is capable of that :/ The tempo and everything was pretty steady through out the piece... I'd give this an 8/10. :)

I HAD TO FALL TO LOSE IT ALL BUT IN THE END IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER /WRISTS

Thanks for the critique, I appreciate it. :)

And as for dynamics, yes MIDI is capable of them. There were a few time in this song where I accidentally hit the chord too hard. Also look at my This Day Aria cover. That was also recorded in MIDI, and I had a lot of dynamics in it as well.
