Not sure where you got that from, but 52 in Hex is just simply 34.

 

Hex (Short for Hexidecimal) is a 16 integer counting system, meaning you count up to 16 before a new digit is added. 1=1 2=2 and so on, however when you get to what is normally a double digit, you replace it with a letter. 10=A 11=B 12=C 13=D 14=E 15=F. Then you increment the next digit, making 10 which is 16 in our normal (Decimal) counting system. so 34 in hex is basically 16+16+16+4=52.

 

So there you have it, a quick lesson in numeral systems
