I believe he's already sponsored by RedBull.

 

In addition, his efforts have very little to do with any sort of merchandising venture for Hasbro, and the stunt he intends to pull also carries the risk that he could die, which would result in negative publicity. And death.

Supersonic pressures (a matter which usually goes unexplored in the case of Rainbow Dash) are high enough to dislocate joints and break bones unless a correct posture is maintained for the entire 10+ minutes of free fall.

 

Hasbro is just as likely to look into sponsoring this sort of thing as they would be for other NASA or aeronautic research as they would for Lockheed HAVE BLUE

Which incidentally was running at the same time as G1 My Little Pony.
