I don't get why fedoras are even a big deal. From what I get, there's some sort of stereotype attached to them for some reason.

Well, I wouldn't go that far, but I definitely don't get the hype about her.

 

Well, speaking as a Trixie fan myself, I think it stems from the fact that she's one of those antagonists that deserves (or, if you trust what happened in "Magic Duel" enough, deserved) to be redeemed (as she's at least justified in being very proud of her talents), some feel genuine pity for having her house smashed by an Ursa Minor, and her hat and cape are awesome.
