Every time I try to play Thief: The Dark Project, I just can't. It is just way too confusing for me. The story and gameplay are good, I'll admit, but in the first mission, there is:

 

-No obvious map
-No objective markers of any kind

-Very vague objectives ("Case the place"? WTF does that mean?)
-Nothing to tell you what you're meant to be doing or where you're meant to be going.

I'm sure Thief is a very good game, but these things are very offputting for me, meaning I just can't play it.

(That said, can someone just help me out with the game?)

Rape is never a victim's fault. Never. Yet, some people still try to blame the victim, because of ''too short skirt/being alone at night in the city/provoking the rapist, etc.". Also, a lot of people don't realize how often the rapist is someone close to the victim, often a member of family or a friend. It's not always a man with a mask on his face, hidden behind a refuse bin. It's a stereotype. Many people also believe that rape is only inserting the penis into the vagina. No, the rapists often use things (broken bottle, for example) to violate their victim. And I know people who state things like "it's impossible to feel pleasure while being raped". Yeah, it might be rare, but not impossible, orgasm is an natural reaction of organism. My point is, that knowledge about rape is still very small, at least in my country, and I understand why people might be too afraid to find a help, after being raped and choose to keep it as a secred. It shouldn't work that way. It's still a taboo and people who spread those stereotypes might unintentionally hurt someone, who was raped.

Hypocrisy is alright, in my opinion. You're only human, it's to be expected that you can't make the connections that show you how your actions are ironic. Ideally hypocrites would eventually be capable of becoming self aware at least, and even better fixing their problems, but I don't ask for miracles.

I already hate the idea of the finale for S4 with Twilight getting all of this power.  To be honest, I think Megan is a big Fibber and AJ needs to have a talk with her.  Hasbro controls Twilight's future, not her. 

 

I think it's the job of parents to parent their kids and not some idiot in office.  It sickens me to see a little kid running around the store with the parent doing nothing to stop the kid.

Kind of on the same boat with this. I've watched a couple animes, I'm even in some anime fandoms, but really don't like anime at all. Don't like the the toddler voices they give girls, the ubiquitous perfect faces on all main characters and more or giant eyes and cutsey things, nor the overseious ones that are completely in your face about how cool they are, and the plots that don't make any sense.

I don't really see where you get the impression that being a Christian will get you that kind of opposition. As another thread on this forum demonstrates, most people here are Christians.

 

Now, if we're talking about homosexuality, then yeah, I can see where you're coming from. But if that's the case, you should've specified it.

I got one that kills everybody........I am a Libertarian, and I am for the idea that you are not somebody else's property, People should be able to keep all their earnings from their labor and do what ever they want with their lives as long as they are not hurting anyone else, no need for government mandates.
