As has already been stated twice earlier, this thread is not for discussing or debating anything, it's simply for making statements of opinions. Consequently, many things have been removed or edited. If anyone brings something up and you want to engage them on it, then send a PM.


To reiterate and expound upon what was said by Thereisnospoon earlier: keep in mind that although the purpose of this thread is for stating unpopular opinions and potential for disagreement kind of comes with the territory, that's not a pass to say whatever you please in any way that you please. All global rules still apply here and you aren't to use slurs against any race, religion, sexual orientation, or any terms of derision towards someone else on a personal level. And if an opinion comes to mind that you're sure will cause offense to other members here, keep it to yourself.

But yea, I feel your pain, Dawn. I understand if a metalhead started listening to House and can't seperate each sub-genre (House have around 20 sub-genres), but if you call every single electronic genre "Techno" or if you use terms such as "Classic rock", then I just get pissed

I have two unpopular opinions:

 

1) I like Barack Obama and what he's doing with this country, and I fully support him. (I live in very republican state, and there's a butt ton of anti-establishment people on the internet I have to interact with)

 

2) I think Morrowind is highly overrated and I prefer Oblivion and Skyrim.

Rainbow Dash and Derpy Hooves are absolutely overrated. 

 

I hate how half the fandom worships Derpy.

 

I like Prince Blueblood.

 

I believe Rarity is underrated.

 

I hate the "Keep Calm and ..." meme.

 

This fandom needs to grow a pair and stop bitching all the time about everything. The alicorn Twilight and Equestria Girls whining made our fandom look pathetic. (mainly the people saying they'll leave the fandom for it).

 

Skyrim was absolutely terrible.

 

I hate Princess Celestia.

 

I hate people that say "THAT'S RACIST" when you say the word "black". (It's absolutely not racist in any way).

 

People need to stop bitching about how the Call of Duty franchise are all the same with just different names. If you don't like the game, just don't buy it, and forget it. There are plenty of FPS games out there. (Metro: Last Light is a good one. )

• I don't like Call of Duty, Bioshock, or other M rated games featuring graphic violence. 

   

• I don't like rap, pop, or dubstep.

   

• I enjoy doing and learning about mathematics.

3) I prefer Derpy's 'revised' voice over her original voice, and I prefer Ditzy over Derpy (I, however, did not care for her "fixed" eyes)

 

4) I kinda liked the video game Shadow the Hedgehog. (However, I haven't played it in quite a long time, so that might just be nostalgia clouding my opinion of it. I'll need to play it again to see whether or not it truly sucks. Sonic 2006, however, can go to hell)

 

5) I really don't like bacon.

 

6) I don't really like cake. I prefer ice cream.

How did you come to that conclusion? Those are the two least loved out of the mane 6, on any poll you go to.

Sorry, that just comes off as extremely random to me. I suppose I can't do anything to disprove it, seeing as I love trees. They bring a lot of beauty to this world beyond their function in allowing us to live. And without trees my favorite instruments would all be plastic. Which would not be pretty.

 

Last year I took a class on Plants and how we use them, and it was an incredibly fascinating class. It really opened up my eyes as to just how many of our products and ways of life are reliant on plants. I guess I had never thought about it.

 

But...trees are overrated...? That's a new one, never heard that one before. lol. Never heard of anybody really having a particular opinion over trees.

Haha, yeah I guess I should have expanded on that a little.

 

I'm not pushing for the extinction of trees, or anything, but I think that people value trees too much. I'm not sure if everyone realizes it, but up to 90% of oxygen is produced by algae, not trees. I don't think they're beautiful (purely subjective, of course), they get in the way of buildings, and they tend to fall down on stuff and cause damage (first hand experience).

 

So basically I just get irritated when people are all like, "OMYGERD TR33S ARE THE SOURCE OF LIFE SAVE DA TR33S!!!11!1"

 

EDIT: I'm not pushing for extinction because tree farms should definitely exist, to give us paper and wooden materials.

I have a strong Disliking for Fluttershy, I don't really see why Bronies shit their pants over other Bronies not liking her.

 

I don't like fast food that well, some of it is okay, I can't eat it every day.

 

I don't like the Scootaloo is a chicken jokes, Rarity is a marshmallow jokes, Fluttershy is a tree or any other reimagining jokes.

 

I think Dr. Who is boring.

 

I've never played any of the sonic games before.

 

I've never played Pokemon before.

 

I like FPS games, but not CoD. Sure not liking CoD is a popular opinion, but not FPS games.

 

Don't care about cloppers.

 

Seth McFarclane is not funny.

 

Beats Audio Headphones aren't that great.

 

I don't care about what car I have, I don't care if you drive a Mercedes and I have a clunker that can't get past 80 MPH, at least I have a car.

 

Finally, I despise Alcohol, underage drinking, and Drugs, and I am against the legalization of recreational drugs, deal with it.

I dislike Pokemon. There! I said it! I found it boring as hell and half the time, I had no clue where to go. I liked to collect the cards though, but the games is an overrated mess in my opinion

 

Tempa isn't the best Dubstep record label. I much prefer Hessle Audio, Chestplate and DMZ. Tempa isn't really releasing anything interesting but an occasional Youngsta track now and then.

CoD is actually pretty fun (seems to be a pretty unpopular opinion on this forum) although it gets old fast.

Ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard are all kinda bleh.

I'm not a big fan of movies in general.

Lyra Heartstrings is in no way interested in humans, and no such concept of "humans" exists in Equestria.

I seriously don't understand the appeal of wrestling. It's basically some over payed and overly famous actors pretending to fight. It's boring, cheesy and doesn't even feel real. I prefer UFC around a billion times more, at least UFC is real and actually entertaining to watch. It also feels a lot more realistic than Wrestling
