Question for smartphone techies?

So I currently own an HTC Amaze 4G and it lives up to it's name. I recently surfed Craigslist and found several ads for the GSM Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I looked up it's specs and its a little weaker than my Amaze, at only 1.2 GHZ compared to my 1.5 GHZ Amaze. I read news that it got Android 4.1 and so I instantly wanted one. BADLY. So I need to ask you guys a question. Should I try and trade for one? My Amaze for a Nexus? Is it worth it? Why or why not? I know the Nexus is Pentaband so i still get 4G. Both phones have similar specs only having different processors and whatnot.

You won't notice a change between 1.2 and 1.5 GHz they mostly put it on there to make their phone look better. Whether or not you should upgrade is entirely dependent on what you use your phone for. For me, I didn't bother because the only features I use on my phone is playing gameboy emulators and searching the web on the rare occasion that I don't have a more capable device at hand. Most of the new features, from what I've seen, are improvements and additions that I either don't use now or don't see myself using.

 

Don't upgrade for the sake of upgrading.

I'll probably try and trade for one. Then ill sell my old phones and airsoft guns and buy another HTC Amaze 4G.

You'll love the Galaxy Nexus. It's so nice having a phone with a no bloat on it, and it's pretty damn fast too. The camera isn't the greatest, but it's still nice. Battery life is also very good (assuming you're getting a GSM version.) Honestly, it's the best phone I've ever used or owned.
