I'm doing an ARMA2 video, and i can't make up my mind on the background music.

Reviewed about 20 songs from different genres, they all sound the same and none sounds like what i need.

I know about the copyrighting thing being "illegal", but I have dozens of videos with different music, and never had any problems.

You only run into complications if your video becomes popular, Its just a friendly warning. YouTube are cracking down on this kind of thing.

I know, but i doubt anyone would get banned for such a thing (maybe major music channels). AFAIK ussualy you get your video muted and you are offered to replace the audio with one of their songs.

YouTube gives 3 copyright strikes then you receive a ban, they are the terms and conditions of YouTuber's user rules, you can do what you like, its your video, im just making you aware.

Eh, If I were to put in a outside suggestion, I probably would've gone with The Lethargic Age by Coroner (although it could come off as boring), but since you're going with either one of the two songs, I think you'd be better off with Thunderstruck.

 

IALWTTT isn't really well suited for shooting games - hell, personal opinion is that songs from High Voltage aren't shooting game material. Razor's Edge songs can be epic in certain cases - title track and Thunderstruck being good examples.

 

Or, you could listen to Speedy and not get screwed, but y'know.

Go with It's a Long Way to the Top. Thunderstruck is really overrused in videos.

But personally, I like it better when people put the actual sound from the game instead of some random music in the background. I find background music annoying and I always end up muting it anyway.
