Will Dj Pon-3 ever talk in season three?

doubt it. the show is afterall targeted to kids and i dont think they're that interested in watching a badass dj. but if she DO get a voice i hope it's not a very soft one.

 

They gave another popular background character a VERY fitting name and made her actually talk like... whatever she represents and it was met with extremely positive reactions. No one expected it to happen - yep, I'm talking about Derpy.

 

As for Vinyl Scratch (DJ Pon-3), I think we'll be in for a bit of surprise in regards to her voice. I don't think it'll be like Rainbow Dash as some people like to think, but rather a bit soft to complement her perceived wild antics as being a party DJ.

I think it would be quite cool if she talked, but it may ruin the fandoms portrayal of her, which so many of us love.

Some background ponies you just don't want to talk. Your almost always disappointed. Especially if there is already a decent fan voice out there for them. Kinda like what happened with Derpy.

The only canon evidence of DJ-Pon3 and Octavia being connected in any way is their trading card. Other than that it's just popular fanon. If we do get a DJ-Pon3 episode, don't count on Octavia being in it.

 

As for her voice, I hope is sounds tomboyish like in the Epic Wub time

1)Making a background character talk ruins the concept of "background character".

 

2)She wouldn't be that special anymore.
