Well snails is the only foal known to be able to use magic ( ignoring the flashbacks in the cutie mark chronicals) and I can see snails being that stupid looking guy who turns out to be very very smart. Snips is similarly in the same boat. I admit that in the grand scheme there are far, far worse ponies to hate *COUGHDiamondTiaraCOUGH* but Snails is bound to get hate, due to what he was created to be, by the show designers. I mean, imagine the possibilities that they are missing... And I'm being dead serious here. They could do something like that with these two and they would end up being more redeemable, especially if FiM gets it's own version of Countdown to Destruction later. Personally I dont mind him as a character but the problem is he just doesnt have that much going for him at the moment that makes him very interesting.... The colors on them arent that good, voices are bad, and nothing seems speacil about them. Not to meation the idea of the 2 is a bit to simaler to another idea Lauren Faust did.
