Why didn't I think of doing this sooner? *Raises several nearby dead ponies into phantoms* They're completely immune to ice magic, you know.  Goes right through them! Maybe that magic butter knife of yours might hurt them, but they'll just come right back to life.   Phantoms feed off of negative emotions, like hate, greed anger... something tells me you have those in abundance!
