So, after two long years of use and gentle care for my device, my iPhone exploded on me.

I'm not kidding. The battery inflated, shattered the glass panel, and launched bits of glass and circuitry everywhere in my home.

Nah, just kidding. The phone is okay. I managed to get the board out of the exploded remains, so if I can find a shell, the info stored and my money in my wallet should be fine. The most expensive part of it is the board, so the total damage cost should be somewhere around 20-40 dollars.

I never actually used it as a phone anyways.

I just used it as a music player that can access the internet (Even though I could only reach the internet from known networks).

I gave my iPod to my father so that his girlfriend could listen to music while they both did their daily workouts.

In return, my father gave me his iPhone (Also because he was getting a new phone the next day).

He knew that I already had a phone, but he decided to pass his phone to me anyways.
