But in order to do that, you have to give up things/people you are already attached with (like your favorite pet, your best friend, or even family members). You can only have pony filly if you choose the BIGGEST WORLDLY ATTACHMENT that you would loose for it. I would probably choose pony over all of my friends (except for top 4 friends because I would want to show them my pony really badly), maybe my annoying little brother (even if I still love him), and my pet bird... And even if it is a duplicate you are taking something out of the world it belongs in and bringing it here to a world most of us would agree would be worse for it no matter how loving a parent you would be. You can have lots of the video games and crap in my room, they gotta be worth something, but I'm not loaded with money and don't have that many things I'd give away. I love my mom and dad, who don't fail like a lot of parents seem to these days when it comes to not being overly strict, and all my friends are hands-off. I would love to cuddle Filly Dashie but in retrospect the feds would probably come steal her away from me once they inevitably find out about her existence anyway, then I'd be sad. So she can stay in her dimension where it's safe, and I'll continue to snuggle my Dash plushie instead. Well, that was my first reaction, but then I started to think… If my favorite pony was somehow transported as a filly to this place, then what good would that actually do for me? Sure, she's cute and ridiculously adorable, but this world is a dangerous place for a pony. What if she was somehow discovered? What would I do then… She'd probably end up being dissected in some science lab somewhere… I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to her. Not worth the risk! I would be seperating her from her home, from Angel, from her friends, and from everything and everyone she loves, just to satisfy my selfish cuddling needs. Thats something i definately wouldnt want to do. I would however give everything i have to be turned into a pony and go to equestria. Before that everyone was -- "I would give everything" -- after that everyone doesnt really want one because of the ramifications of it on the filly itself. Also tons of "I would give X" followed by reading the thread and edit: Well maybe not. Thing is there are big questions above and beyond like: Is there enough magic here for a pegasus to fly? I mean aerodynamically it seems unlikely unless there is enough magic to fuel their flight talent. Most places in my opinion wouldnt. Then there would be twilight's awakening. This goes one of two ways -- If there isnt enough magic for her to do any unicorn magic, she would end up talentless forever. If there is you would have one major problem on your hands. Cat's are pritty cool I don't have a great record with pet's sadly :C I try my hardest with them but they never seem to last long :'(. Maybe they treat me like shit sometimes, but they are human beings and seriously, we all live the best we can, we all make mistakes, bigger and smaller ones. I am no exception, so ....
