There was this one time I was listening to the 'Smile Song' by Pinkie Pie on the headphones in our Computer Class while the teacher was giving us a lecture. She noticed I wasn't paying attention and was bobbing my head and obviously, listening to some music. So she disconnects the headphones, and when she does, the computer automatically switches to the internal speaker.

 

Oh boy, most embarrassing day ever....I did a 'haters gonna hate' jig all day pretending not to give a shit about how the word had quickly spread around the school that I was listening to a song from a kid's show. What's worse is that only about 1% of the whole population in Pakistan might have actually heard about bronies. So everyone thought I was some weirdo who is the only person on the planet who does this.

Coworkers recently found out and won't stop giving me crap about it. I'm pretty much "Hater's gonna hate" from it. Coming out of the "stable" actually made it much better, considering I don't have to hide it from them anymore. Ended up watching an episode at work and going on r/MLP. Feels good, man.

One time I was listening to MLP music during recess I left my player in my bag when I went to get some food. When I got back I found to of my friends listening to Winter Wrap Up. At least they already know I'm a brony. But the awkward moment is that they listened to the headphones because they were quite loud and you could hear them when you take them off, so several others heard it. Yay me for forgetting to pause the music.

When a repair guy from Bell came over to figure out what was wrong with my internet (apparently it was an old power cord that was leaking energy, thankfully we had a spare) and once we got the new power cord plugged in and saw that the internet was now stable, the Bell guy, while my mom (who still doesn't know I'm a brony) was watching, asked me which browser I used, I told him firefox, so he opens it, and my 3 tabs (one being Fimfiction, another being Guild Wars 2 Guru, and the 3rd being this one, ohttp://mlpforums.com/topic/31289-you-ever-have-that-awkward-moment/n a thread that had Pony in the title) pop up, so I instantly take the mouse from him and close it saying "I'd rather just check internet explorer", which was so extremely awkward, but neither he nor my mom said anything (then again my mom never says anything when she sees I'm looking at pony-related stuff, oddly....).

 

I still wonder, if he realized it was said "Pony" or if he thought it said "Porn", either one would explain why I was so quick to close the browser........

I have found myself lately whistling some of the songs from the show around my campus, and sometimes I have to resist the urge to say everypony or anypony in conversation and instead say everybody/anybody! I also will every once in awhile just randomly think of moments from the show, even if I'm around friends, and it never fails to bring a smile to my face, or even a chuckle!

That moment when you're taking an ACT practice exam and end up only answering 60 out of 75 questions because ponies were invading your thoughts throughout the exam and you ran out of time? Yep, that happened a few days ago.

 

EDIT: and end up with a composite score of 19 (out of 34) as a result...

My headphones were unplugged and it turns out I never plugged them in.

NOTE: Most of my classmates are girls. o.o Only 7 boys (including me) and 15 girls.

I said " a pony" and then she said "ok" and walked off saying I should keep the lamp close to myself when I'm drawing. Hmm......
