A brony night club

Why the hell not go? It's not like it's gonna be any worse than the strange places that I go to sometimes at night. Plus, I'd get to meet some bronies and that'd be cool.

Ohlol, I'd probably go for like one night and then never return. I went to some of those brony rave parties at the conventions and I'm sorry but you bronies don't know how to properly throw a proper rave and or party.

I would love to have a brony nightclub. I know quite a few bronies where I live, so it would be pretty cool to meet up with them. As for activity, well, maybe some non-bronies can come and share the fun too!

There's only one good outcome from nightclubbing, and that is the providing of your bed with a second sleeper for the night. Sounds awesome, pegasisters here I come.

First off. Creating a Brony Night Club would have been a bad idea in the first place.

It started off as an Internet meme and with that came a lot of haters. And what do haters do?

 

They destroy. Not only would it be painted with graffiti but how many bronies are there?

Not many, so it would probably go in bankruptcy.

 

People would rather go to a night club with a neat theme to it then a Night club with colourful ponies theme.

Some people would go, but there aren't enough bronies per town that would go to it on a regular basis to keep it open. It would close down very quick. Plus clubs are stupid.

You mean like a regular nightclub but only one that is MLP-themed and tailored towards a Brony audience? Well, at the very least I would check it out, would depend on a series of factors if I would make my attendance there a regular thing,though.

 

As to the ultimate success of the establishment, that would depend on what exactly the Brony population in my area actually. is. I have no idea, and I have no polls/charts which would give me any accurate read on the situation. I suppose I could check out TV rating for the Hub whenever MLP is shown to get a gauge. But that would not take into account the huge number of MLP fans who just get their fix from other sources be it YouTube/Netflix/live-streams, etc...

 

That said I live in a moderately populated area, in an urban part of SE Florida, and it is likely that any Brony nightclub opened around these parts would at the very least attract Miami Bronies to the area, so who knows? It might do well, but, then again, it might not.

I'd go for sure, I bet it would actually be quite cool to go to a club and have ponies painted on the walls.

 

Although being all boring and realistic a whole nightclub that was just bronys would kinda not work in my oppinion, but I'm sure a night dedicated to like bronys and pony remixes or something could work I dunno.

I might go, as long as it was in St. Paul, not Minneapolis. I have friends that go to Minneapolis clubs a lot and from what I hear, there has been a lot of violence going down lately. Fighting, shooting, stabbing, fires on dance floors... Mostly on 18+ nights, too. I really don't feel like getting shot anytime soon.

 

I think the atmosphere would be amazing, though. Bright colors, pony songs, episodes playing on big screens and smiling faces everywhere!

Third haters would just come and trash the place.

And four, I wouldn't want to end up getting hit on by some creep. Ew.

I would totally go, I am not really a clubing person, but if it's a brony club it should be pretty interesting. I would totally dance to some pony music. That would be great. And they could have a big bouncer that asks a pony question to allow entrance.

I don't think it'd be such a great idea.. I could really see it going in a very wrong direction and the outside public not understanding why it was there. I see it the same way we dont have clubs for all the other fandoms. I mean, even though there are thousands of bronies, there are BILLIONS of people. It'd be very diluted and a very empty club. It think it should be more of a travelling thing if anything. Maybe a massive party bus or something. That way it would draw a crowd because of the fact it wont always be there.

 

I would support a MLP party bus tour of America =D

I don't think the idea of a Brony themed nightclub would be a great idea. I like partying and stuff, but it would only appeal to a certain demographic of people (Bronies), and when you think about it it's a SMALL demographic. A standard nightclub appeals to a wide variety of people, a Brony one is very exclusive. With that being said, depending on the location of the nightclub it may or may not be active. It's a "Hit or Miss" situation imo. Who's to say all Bronies would show up anyway? I wouldn't travel just for the sake of going to a Brony nightclub. I guess the idea is a nice idea, logically it wouldn't be a good investment.

 

TL;DR: I don't think the club would do very well.

As far as I can tell, there aren't any bronies in my area and not many in the whole state of Virginia, so I could be the sole patron, but be sure that I would attend. I think it would be fantastic, but the proprietors should be considerate of bronies of all ages by providing music and refreshments suitable for them as well. I've been to places one might consider a nightclub but made an effort to extend some amount of hospitality to people of all ages. A brony nightclub should be the most inclusive one the world has ever seen.

If there was a brony night club, I would go. It would just be nice to be a place where everyone is a brony and it would be a cool meet up spot. It might do well for a while, but it may not see a lot of business. It just depends on how many are in that town.

Secondly, I would give it a go, I am not much of a club person for the reason I can't dance, and the atmosphere is always hmm I can't describe it but it isn't very me, I'm more of a bar girl, I like to sit and enjoy my beer(s), listen to some music, and fall off my bar stool, uh I mean relax, yeah relax...

 

I think it would be a fun idea for a club theme every once and a while, a lot of clubs have special evenings or themes, so a brony theme night at a club could be fun, but I don't know if liquor and technicolor ponies really go together *note to self next time watch MLP and get drunk to test theory*

 

Overall, no, I don't think it is a fantastic idea, but I would definitely scope the place out and maybe chill every once and a while

I actually love this idea, and I would go if there was one near me. It would be so much fun, but I don’t know if there are enough Bronies per town to make it work. Maybe if you did it in a place like LA you could get away with it? There should be enough Bronies in the LA area to keep your business running.

I realize this topic is quite old, but I still want to throw in my opinion for what it's worth.

After reading through the responses I agree that a MLP night club would never get enough of a crowd to stay up.
That said, a night club with an MLP theme night every so often would go over much better.
It would end up being a treat for the surrounding Bronies and, with proper publicity, Bronies from the surrounding area, myself included, would take a trip to attend the event.
 

Now, about the issues brought up with fights and security.
To be honest, I doubt we'll have many issues, and those that do arise will be dealt with quickly

With the amount of Bronies I've seen in the military that would support and attend this kind of an event, you would always have at least 20 Airman, Marines, Sailors, or Coasties at each event, who would gladly take care of these "issues".

Heck, talk with the local military base, you could get Airman, Marines, or Sailors to volunteer as security.
They'll use it as a public service or security bullet for their next package or their EPR.
