music Gangnam Style (Nightcore)

Recommended Posts

I made this nightcore a couple weeks ago out of extreme bordom, and extensive periods of having this song on repeat, so I thought, why not make a nightcore of it?

This is the second nightcore I made, the first being Luna by Eurobeat Brony.

I really hope you enjoy listening to this! Free download in the description.

I'll never get tired of saying that Nightcore makes any song two-or-more times better... It's always so cheerful, makes me wanna get up and dance. :P

Pretty nice job, mate! This is awesome!~

Aww, thank you! I'm probably going to make some more, so if you have any requests for me, then feel free to PM me. I will let you know if I can do it or not, and provide you with an mp3 before release.

I looked up everything it takes to do a "nightcore" version of a song.

In audacity:

Press Shift control I , to import a song. Or just go to file, import.

High light the whole sing with control + A. Go to Change Speed in effects. Change the speed to around 15-35% faster.

Now, this is the part that makes the different in bad and good nightcore, Its very hard to get this part perfect. Highilight the whole song. Go to change pitch in effects.

If the song has a girly voice, try changing the pitch from around 5-15. If its a man voice, change it from 10-30.

If you want a girl voice to change to a man voice...

Change the pitch down no more than 25%- keep trying different numbers till its perfect, remember, there is an undo button.

when you are done, go to file, export, and save the song.

Seems very easy. Not that the results sound bad. I prefer the original, but this is still catchy.

@,

I actually don't do any of that. I use Virtual DJ to speed it up, then I may edit certain elements of the track, for example, maybe the bass isn't high enough on a song, so I might edit it slightly to make it sound better.
