I'm not sure if your friends are inactive right now, but you may wanna go through your friend list and see what's up first. if there are any signs of inactivity from your friend list, it's best to remove them if they're not playing the game anymore.

Finally got the chance to check most of them. Most of my friends on my list are active.

It's gonna be almost a week since this problem started for me (not getting hearts in inbox or chests)

I've tried the game's customer service section but getting an email from them might take forever ( maybe even longer than Nightmare Moon's imprisonment in the moon )

I'm still able to send out hearts & chests, tho I myself am not able to receive anything is quite upsetting.

Well Another way to give your feedback is to post it on their facebook page. they said a while back they're gonna fix some issues, but i don't know when though. If they did, then it's most likely that we will get an update or hot fix to both iOS and android.

  I am now at the point where I desperately need some advice. I stopped doing the time traveling trick about two weeks ago, but my situation has not improved. In fact, it's gotten much much worse. The loyalty parasprites have infested the whole of Ponyville. Absolutely everything. I cannot get rid of them because even though all my shops are occupied, I don't even get enough shards to even get rid of one parasprite swarm (which requires 4 shards). 

   

  Not only that, but I cannot build new shops nor bring in more ponies because of the parasprites. 

   

  This is a dead end. What to do??? 

  Heeeeelp!

EDIT : I forgot to mention that they respawn like crazy. And they are all loyalty parasprites.

EDIT 2 ; I probably did not need Edit 1, considering that my post is quite explicit in saying that I just can't get rid of them since they respawn faster.

Hey guys! I figured out an inexpensive way to keep parasprites at bay. Take a cheap decoration, like a path and make a sort of grid... Like so

XOX It's cheap, it works, and it's easy to clear out if you wish to add something or keep away those 4000 bit obstacles. The worst you'll get is some 1000 bit blockades.

Not really. I'm using it myself to keep my kindness bat and 'sprite infestations down while their still going.

It's really quick to install so I put one up before another horde shown up.

Well, yes, I see what you mean... You cannot build anything on a parasprite infected area.

The trouble I have is that I don't have enough shards to clean out a horde before another one shows uo.

 

In fact, I don't have the correct shops and the shops that I have rarely give out any loyalty shards, Can't get far enough in the mine either.

If you kept your ponyville and sweet apple acres decorated, it would affect your gem farming including wheels from the vampire fruit bats. I would strongly suggest that you should spread your ponies across your shops to remedy the pest problems. That's the reason why I don't keep them decorated until i get enough gems for the shops and ponies.

 

I'm halfway to level 76 and right now I'm level 75 and unlocked pinkie's mom which it costs around 120 gems to buy.

also, how do you people get so many bits, like 2 mil or so? Did you guys already spend a long time playing?

I used to do the time traveling trick. But then, I stopped  ( see earlier post for reason).

When you fast forward the time on your phone, you can get a lot of bits,

 

By they way, spreading the ponies across the shops does no good for me at all.

Any other ideas ?

How to make money fast? that's easy. You wanna get most of your ponies up to 3-5 stars and then assign your shops to full so you can get the bonus. Canterlot and Sweet apple acres Shops are easy to fill up so you wanna assign 3 ponies to the shops you have built so far. The ones that makes the most money are ponyville hospital and town hall, and sweet apple acres pumpkin shop. If you're playing the mine cart mini-game, it's not gonna be that easy to get a money multiplier power-up, but depending on the level, you should make more money than the usual.

Well just recently, Granny Smith went on sale for around 200 gems.  And sure enough, I had enough gems to get her.  Now I only need 3 ponies left for Sweet Apple Acres before I'm done.

It wasn't that easy to get cuz it cost me around 250 gems and it took me a lot of days to save up gems for the town hall. now I have to get quills & sofas to complete the quest.

You'll get shining armor in the EG mini-game as well. You'll get most of the gem-based ponies from EG mini-game except the new ones, celestia, and the balloon pop ponies.

For those who like messing around with the time. It may seem like you could no longer do so, but you actually still can. Just close the app, mess the time, and reopen the app. Bam. (Yea, just need to close and relaunch the app)

Sounds great! I only have to buy 3~4 heart ponies (the most expensive ones though) before spending my hearts on the balloon pop game.

It's not that hard for 1st time players. You just need to assign your ponies to the shops, but if you want to make more money, then you need assign the ponies that provides large amount of money including the bonus. Elements of Harmony Shards, well if you have a lot of shops, then you should have no problem getting them. My Advice is that you need to unlock Elements of Harmony first before you use the shards on the pests and never use the shards for the elements of harmony stones if the pests are gonna be your problem. The Most common is laughter and the rare and hard to get is magic.
