Phazer sighed, "Hey rookie, I know you're new to this, so let me give you some pointers-"

 

Compass rolled his eyes, "This is going to be just like last time when she tried to EXPLAIN her manual."

 

"What was that, ENSIGN?"

 

"Nothing ma'am! Reporting that it is windy today, ma'am!" There was no wind.

Phazer rolled her eyes,"Alright Cherry, the faster you move, generally the faster the mobile suit moves." She demonstrates on a dummy.

Cherry Blossom tried the same thing as she pulled the joystick with both hooves. Her MS walked a bit faster, but she missed a step and caused it to fall. The dummy got close to her and just stood in front of her downed MS, doing absolutely nothing, but trying to look initimidating.

Diamond finished reading the information about being reassigned, then stood up, trotted into the Locker room and started placing some of her things in her locker. <This place seems kinda empty... I wonder where everypony is.> She thought, closing her locker and up to the mane flight deck.

Phazer sighed and moved her suit to help her up. After awkwardly getting her upright again, Phazer book marked a few pages in the manual for Cherry, saying, "Maybe it's best if you slow. Gotta start somewhere right?"

 

Blaster sent her a message that made her blush. Compass snickered.

Cherry Blossom just sighed and continued her training again, but this time she looked over a few pages in the manual she was given. Of course she wasn't going to set it aside like other pilots, she wanted to try out first and then look over the manual.

 

Apple Mint woke up in his room in a military base, located in Canterlot. As he stretched himself, he grabbed his uniform and put if on. Then he dashed out of the room and headed towards the mobile suit hangar. He had an assignment today for MS testing to recieve data.

Phazer looked smugly at her squad, while the other two ponies rolled their eyes. "Coordinators," Compass said, "They want to know everything. Phazer sent him a message, to which he replied out loud, "At least my exit exam wasn't 80+ pages on how to drive my vehical!"

Cherry Blossom watched the screens of the pilots and the manual back and forth. She readied her beamsword and slashed at the practice dummy, from some technique in the manual. The dummy's right foreleg was successfully cut off and it proved the manual to be very effective.

Phazer looked at the dummy, and then at her comrade, "At least my book produces results. Please, remind me on the result of your 'new' wing technique, the one that was supposed to double the power AND efficiency? I believe I heard something about an explosion?" That shut up Compass.

The speaker turned on again, "Training session has ended. All mobile suits, return to your hangars."

Engineer crews and escort teams came around and made preparartions for the MS to come back into their hangars. Cherry Blossom push the joystick and started walking back to her hangar.

Phazer sighed, "Alright people, prepare for restock. We'll be exiting the atmosphere in 30 minutes." Burner's voice crackled over her communications, "And tell the two buffoons to take their work seriously." She saluted instinctively, telling hercompanions, "You got that right? Then move out."

"Alright, everypony, 10 laps, and we'll head down to test your Magic Suits when you finish," the captain called to the sweating ponies. They had returned from their scouting mission for coordinators, as they called them, in case of any unexpected attacks. Shadow Dancer moved up front, ahead of the other 15 ponies on that certain squad. The ponies who had experience in stealth were all to meet in the dojo with Captain Snowflake, and were to get their fitness rate checked, as well as the quality of their Magic Suits. Their Suit models were Blitz to help them feel like they were in the right suit.

 

5 laps gone, and they had gone without thinking, as Shadow Dancer now noticed. There wasn't much to think about if you were sweating profusely, but at least the suits had a cooling system built into the helmet, so they could stay cool, and even comfortable.

 

10 laps had been completed, and Shadow Dancer stood panting with the other 6 ponies who had finished with him, the others still running on their last lap. "Whoever's done, head down to the MS Test facility to get their suit functions tested, and everypony else, 2 more laps for falling behind. This isn't a place for weaklings, no, we are tough!" Shadow Dancer, relieved that he could rest, at least a little, went out the door and down the hallway toward his intended destination.

After Cherry Blossom docked her MS in the Mobile Suit hangar, she got out and proceeded to the locker rooms. Though she took the manual with her on a USB and wanted to look over it the next day. She took her helmet off and placed it inside of the locker and unzipped her pilot suit and put those in as well. Cherry Blossom outstretched her wings; they had been within the suit all day during the training session.

 

Apple Mint noticed hoofsteps and noticed Shadow Dancer trotting down the hallway towards the hangars. "Why hello thar." he smiled faintly.

Shadow Dancer, trotting down the hall, now at a casual pace, arrived at the door and was about to enter as an unfamiliar pony greeted him. "Hi," he said awkwardly, trying to see if he remembered the ponies' name. His mind came up blank, so he put a hoof forward to greet, assuming that this pony didn't know who he was either. "My name's Shadow Dancer. Are you here for the testing, or are you one of the instructors?"

Apple Mint replied, "Ah guess you've read mah head. Ah'm going to be instructin' you n' a couple of other fellas."

He continued to walk down the hall towards the hangars as he still had his direction at Shadow Dancer. "So are ya new here, or have ya been here for a while?" he asked as he kept trotting.

"I've been here a while, a few years at most," he said, before the pony walked away, probably into the instructor's hangar. "Well, I'll see you in there, I better head in and get my suit on. I might have you as my instructor. Cya, then." He opened the door where his suit lay, and his briskly went in and got in. "I love it every time I get in this thing," he said, mainly to himself, and he went back out wearing the magic suit, trotting toward the MS Testing Facility.

Apple Mint slipped on a helmet and suit, given by the engineers and jumped into the cockpit of his Aile Strike Gundam. As soon as he started it, the screen typed in words and started up the MS systems.

Diamond climbed out of the cockpit of her suit and then made her way to the locker room. <I really hope everything here goes well.> She thought, pushing the door to the locker room open and trotted in, She saw a white pegasus with pink mane and blue eyes putting her helmet and pilot suit into her locker. "Hello there." She said smiling at the pony. "My name is Bright Diamond, and I was just wondering where new recruits go to get all the information about where they sleep and all that stuff." She said to Cherry Blossom.

Cherry Blossom's ears perked up as Diamond was talking to her. "N-New recruits head to the commander's o-office," she said shyly as she closed her locker and locked it. She started to fly out of the room very slowly and steadily. Until something hit her mind, "B-Bright Diamond? Y-You're my room mate."

On his ship, Captain Burner was pacing in front of his team. As far as he could tell, he had to cowboys and a soldier. "Sargent Phazer, dismissed." He said, finally. He stared at Compass and Blaster for a long while, then said, "You will spend lunch in your rooms pondering just why I would send my team planet-side for a training exercise. IF you talk back to me, you will also be spending dinner there. Dismissed." He watched the two demoralized ponies walk out of the hanger. Maybe now they would take him seriously.

Diamond smiled. "Oh, Well its nice to meet you roomy. but I just don't really know where..." She giggled. "I apologize, I never asked you your name." She said.

"M-My name is Cherry Blossom. I could lead you to the room if you want, but only i-if you want to," said Cherry Blossom. She didn't have anything else to say now, but she was a little eager to look over the manual. Cherry Blossom started walking back towards her room.

"Sure." Said Diamond, Following Cherry Blossom to their room. "So Cherry Blossom, How long have you been working at this base ?" She asked, glancing out a window that they were passing by and watching a couple MS's taking off. <So cool.> She thought, as they turned a corner and passed by several bed rooms.

"I-I've only been here for a week," Cherry Blossom said as she got to the room after a few minutes. She pulled out a keycard and opened the door to the room. "Please make y-yourself at home."

 

The Murasame mobile suits in their current form as mobile armor looked around the area constantly. They picked up a ZAFT mobile suit nearby and circled around. One of them hooked up a link with the MS, "This is ORB Union territory, as a neutral nation we must ask you to leave. If you do not turn back, we will have to use armed force."

Red decided that some fast-paced lying was in order. He overplayed his accent on purpose to sound dumb. "Yes, 'allo? Zis ees a consruction job, ja? I am er, I am making, how you say eet? Raydiyo towar? Yez! I am making a raydiyo towar, und I have zis MS because eet ees too cold for normal vorkers! I am sorry for ze intrusion, yah?"

"Command, we've got an MS pilot who apparently is claiming he is working on a construction project. He claims he's using the ZAFT MS to stay warm. He has no contruction materials around and his MS looks combatant. Command are you reading this?" The pilot said as they continued to circle around him.

"We'll send in a team to investigate, but in the mean time, keep your eyes peeled on him. Wait until the team comes and checks him," the commander replied as he gave the order for a helicopter with a squad to go to the designated area.
