"Yes Ah am partner. Now lemme teach ya somethin' about fightin' like this." Apple Strudel pulled out his beamsword and charge at 3 dummies and sliced them all in half while flying through a zig zag. "Now why don't you try with your fancy little MS, but it is a little tricky."

Shadow Dancer's brow furrowed, but not because it was hard. It was easy, suit or no suit, the suit just strengthened the hit. He thought they were just gonna test the functions to make sure they were working, but it turned out it was a training session instead. With barely a swish of his hoof, the hoof-blade extended, he lopped all three heads off in one swipe, and looked smugly at the instructor. "Alright, instructor, what's next?"

One problem, you're supposed to destroy the torso, because that is where the cockpit is. We must make sure the coordinators don't survive!" Apple Strudel furiously sliced a dummy to show Shadow Dancer an example. He will eventually learn about this. he thought.

"Aha," he replied, a new set of dummies replacing the last. "I think I can cope," he replied, using the same move from earlier and this time flicking back just as the heads fell off to drive back and taking out there chest. His sword got stuck in the third one, but, if he was lucky, the instructor wouldn't have seen it, as he flicked his sword to a horizontal position to throw it several meters. "I believe they're dead this time," he said, surveying the result and suppressing a grin.

"Alright, but be careful when out in a real combat zone. They aren't goin' to sit around for ya ta dice em like pie." Apple Strudel said as he pulled the joystick, causing his MS to walk towards Shadow Dancer. "Ya did purdy fine, but be sure not ta get your sword stuck and don't g-" he was cut off by a explosion coming from nearby.

 

"ATTENTION! ENEMY MOBILE SUITS ARE DESTROYING ALL THE HANGARS! DEPLOY ALL MS!" somepony yelled into the speaker as their location was blown up by gunfire. ZAFT Ginn MS started attacking from the air.

Diamond looked a little confused but did not respond, as Cherry Blossom dived down towards the ZAFT Magic Suit. Diamond followed closely behind Cherry, They both shot down at the ground and were followed by the rest of the MS's.

(OOC: If Diamond shouldn't have a suit yet, we could just say she stayed at the base to talk to the commander. I just kinda figured that before they join the army and become a soldier they would already have trained and have their own suit.)

"Looks like now's my chance," he replied, but his sense of humor suddenly dissolved as he sprinted toward the door, which was ajar after a few other ponies had already left. The room was on fire, and whoever didn't escape was sure to die because of the fumes. "Everypony move, now!" The roof was then blown to pieces, but he continued to run, trying to make it to the vehicle facility. It was best if he got into a flying machine to bring him above the ZAFT unit, and he could, of course, invisibly try to get "a closer look" at the attackers.

The ZAFT MS were shooting at almost every part of the base with their machine guns, but Apple Strudel was busy fighting off 5 at a time. All the other pilots were either killed or wounded and wouldn't be able to operate their machines.

The glowing red eye of a Ginn stared at Shadow Dancer.

 

"How c-could you attack our neutral nation!" Cherry Blossom readied her beamsword and she was going to stab it through the target's cockpit.

(OOC: I assume that brohoof meant yes. Also who is controlling the Commander?)

 

"Good luck" Diamond said, watching Cherry Blossom trot out of their room. <Now... Back to unpacking.> She thought, looking back at her bag.

<And im done.> She thought, pulling her Katana, hoofgun, and a canteen from her bag. <Now... where is the commanders office ?> Diamond stood up and trotted out the door.

The commander walked down the hallway and seemed to have run into Diamond in front of her room. "Hey, aren't you the new recruit assigned to that Astray Red Frame? It seems that your record in skill and ability is very impressive. No wonder you were assigned this MS."

Diamond was just about to trot down the hall when she heard the commanders voice, she turned around and saluted him. "Oh... um yea, That's me." She said blushing. "I read almost all the books about Magic Suits in my library... I just couldn't stop. Every time I saw one when I was filly I was so fascinated, I never knew I would be the pilot for one." She said with a smile.

"Yes, but now others can look up to you as you pilot one yourself. I'm sure you've been assigned a locker, uniform, and other necessities as well, yes?" the commander put a hoof on Diamond's shoulder and patted her. "Please be fragile with it, because it is an expensive model."

"Thank you sir. and Yes, I have been assigned a pilots suit and helmet but I dont know the code to my locker... er, I dont even know which locker is mine." Diamond said, Quietly giggling. "And yes, I will treat the suit like a sheet of glass as thin as paper." She said, smiling.

"Oh and I have a starting manual and a folder for you to have. It contains your locker number and combination. Don't think that just because you have a higher performance, means that all the others who have M1 Astrays are low priority pilots." He said as he saluted and walked off.

"I wont sir." She said, Taking the folder saluting the commander and trotting back into her room.

She placed the folder on her bed and turned on her little laptop computer, She then opened the folder and started writing everything from the folder onto her computer.

Getting so close was Cherry's biggest mistake. Red didn't even have to use the targeting system. He just brought up his rifle and blew the M1's leg off before booting Cherry into a boulder. He then took out his non-regulation knife (There's some info for the CO) and drove it through the torso.

[Octavia's Bow 2,035]

This was when Phazer's beam sword came up into his torso. She used it to drag him of off the rookie, while her partners grabbed an arm. Together, the three mobile suits forced him to the ground. "Comand, this is Space one. We have four suits down, and a captured suit and pilot. requesting pick up of the stolen goods, copy?"

<And that is that.> She thought, Standing up, grabbing her pilots suit and helmet, Then strapping her katana around her waist and trotting towards the locker rooms. Once She arrived, Diamond opened up her locker, hung her pilots suit up, then she very neatly placed her helmet at the bottom of the locker. <Im kinda hungry.> She thought, closing her locker then trotting towards the Cafeteria.

Cherry Blossom screamed when the hostile MS rammed his knife into the torso of her MS. There was a small explosion, but the hull of her MS was still intact. Yet it was heavily damaged and the pilot was knocked unconscious and wounded. Her screen emitted nothing, but noise and static.

 

The Ginns continued to attack the military base and Apple Strudel did his best to hold them off. "Shadow Dancer. I want you to go and escort the evacuation of this base!"

 

"Roger that. We'll send another mobile suit to help you carry the prisoner over." the commander frowned. There wasn't any other mobile suits, except for the Astray Red Frame. He turned the speaker on and spoke, "Diamond. Please report yto your mobile suit. We'll link your objectives on your screen."

<Damn it.> Diamond thought, galloping into the hangers and towards her suit. <I am really hungry... I want food.> She thought, climbing into the cockpit of her suit. "Ok... Just remember the training and the books." She muttered closing the door and starting up her suit.

Diamond read her objectives then drove the suit out of the hanger and down the mountain towards Cherry Blossom, and Phazer.

"Got it, Instructor." He ran towards the gate of the facility, where ponies where streaming out in rapid succession. The evacuation process had been trained many times repetitively, and everypony knew there would be another attack. The ZAFT wouldn't give up that easily. He stopped at the doors and flung another two open. "Leave in a careful manner, everypony! No need for any broken bones!" He was thrown several meters as one of the ZAFT Magic Suits hit the roof once more. "Keep panic at the minimum, and if you need to, do it mentally!" His magic suit rotated and fired a bunch of mini-explosive missiles.

"This is for the Earth Alliance!!!" he yelled as he sliced a Ginn in half. There were constant waves of ZAFT mobile suits coming and the base would be overrun soon. He check his shriker pack on his mobile suit and flew to the direction of the evacuating personnel.

 

"Give me a status report," the commander said to Phazer as he looked at the screen.

Red didn't panic. He was going to be fine. He typed into the suspicious-looking laptop computer he kept in the MS at all times. Username: Teddy. Password? Is a liar. Time? I'll give it seven minutes. This done, he grabbed his vintage Luger pistol and climbed out the bottom of the MS.

[Octavia's Bow 2,035]

"Command, the pilot is escaping. Possible explosive charges on the enemy Mobile Suit. Orders?" Phazer's coordinator brain tried hard figure out what this pony would do, as Captain Burner listened to instinct. Pulling rank, he orders Blaster, "Blaster, stun gun, get down on the ground and capture that foal of a coward. Phazer, check on Cherry Blossom. Compass, sentry duties. Make sure everypony stays a safe enough distance away." The ponies do as they're told, as Burner waited for reprecutions from command. Blaster got ground level, where he was most comfortable. Cocking a stun gun so that it would be charged, he pursued the pony on foot.

"This is command. Drop the mobile suit and destroy it immediately. Capture the prisoner and make sure to bring him back alive," the commander replied as he turned to a bunch of operators. "Don't just sit there. Go and do something productive." he frowned and raised an eyebrow at them.
