I've crafted 2 weapons so far..the pyro's sign and the heavy's minigun.

 

Heavy's minigun is fun to use, but it sures consumes ammo. But still; to hear a spy being ignited really makes YOU more alert of his presence.

 

The sign has driven me to play 2fort.

 

We need to put up signs saying "BEWARE OF (Pyro) SHARKS!"

All I really want is the Flying Guillotine.

 

I think valve is making the recipes to craft those weapons a little more expensive than most of the other weapons, so when people who really want to get those new weapons see how much stuff you need to craft one they'll just be like "fuck that, I'll just buy it off the store"

That has been my suspicion for a while. Thing that first got me thinking about that was the Uber update, the Quick-Fix (ew, ew ew ew ew ew) requiring a Kritzkrieg and.... 2 refined, was it? Sure, it doesn't anymore, but back when they were hyping it up and making people want it, it did.

 

inb4 next major update adds weapons that require HOUWARs to craft.

Ok, I should stop bragging now :blush: .

 

I got myself one of those blueprint tubes for the Engineer, it's quite nice.

 

But... now I can't put my other Misc. items on... needs more Misc slots!

 

Man, I know, right?

I remember when TF2 only had one Misc. slot, so when I tried to equip a Hairpiece for my Heavy, I couldn't equip my favorite Badge.

Of course, this was during the time of when I had to use my brothers account, but oh well. I have one now :D .

The promo items are awesome, and the game is really fun too!

And the sniper has a mustache! He can be a full Australian now.

I have it but I haven't tried it yet. I really probably should though. It looks like something I might enjoy.

 

It's quite lied back for an fps, it's great for just mucking around for an hour or so especially seen as you can swap classes when you get bored of one and because of how different they all are :)

 

A lot of just raw fun in TF2 :D

I think the TF2 server is down at the moment. People really don't really play it much these days, either. :( Anyways, I'll ask about it.

 

Haven't really played TF2 since my internet's been back up. I oughta change that. ;)

 

Edit: Everypony who maintains the TF2 server is on vacation, so odds are it'll have to wait.

Funny fact is, I actually did shout "YES! YES!" when it dropped.

MY friend dropped a Team Captain once, he drops a TON of hats. Like a lot, every time I see him he always tells me he drops another hat. I have the same amount of idle accounts as him and I'm lucky if I get one a week :/

Heads up, I've recently been put in charge over the site's server's resurrection. There's a new subforum for it here: http://mlpforums.com/forum/52-team-fortress-2-server/

 

The subforum is still far from set up, and likewise with the server, but expect the subforum fully functioning by tomorrow, same with the server.

@@Ashbad, that's great news! I've always wanted to see the TF2 server regularly have people on it, and maybe it having its own subforum will help increase interest in it/let more people know it exists.

 

However... does this mean my thread is obsolete? :P
