I've never specifically seen the desire to play on "pony servers" - in a few ways it's actually a little annoying to have dispensers switching between various 8-bit songs. There are plenty of bronies playing on all different servers, so you might run into them with their creative avatars at times.

Creative... Yeah... To be honest, it does get rather cringe-worthy, even as a brony myself, when there are people just named strictly after ponies. At least alter the name in some way. Seriously, I'm the only Suitaloo (from what I've seen looking stuff up at least), and it gets kind of irritating to be fighting the 50th "Pinkie Pie's Party Cannon" you've seen that day. Seriously guys, be original at least.

Its hard to have an original name on Steam though. There's tons of players. I've played on few pony servers, but I mostly play on Ozzyfurocity servers.

No it's not, even if you just mildly change the name of the original pony to make a pun or whatever, that's fine. I'd be a hypocrite if I said otherwise. Or, if you're creative, do something with that. I don't know, hell, as long as your OC isn't a stereotypical bad one (AKA red/black, has shadow, blitz, or something of that nature in it's name, prince/ss), you can use that name and still be original.

I am practically not a brony while playing tf2. I've been part of tf2 longer than the mlp fandom, and I wont change my original steam name and avatar to something MLP related because I'm more into tf2 than I am into MLP. When people see me I want them to relate me to the game, not to the bronyhood. Not that I am afraid to be made fun of, I've simply been playing too much competitive tf2 to change my name/avatar to something not tf2 related.

 

I do change my name to 'the flying dutchmoron' when I go market gardening... Because that is amazing.

 

 

To reply to your statement on uberchaining, have you checked my video. What we did there was WITHOUT communcation whatsoever. I eventually added the guy and we started using mumble, but it all began with me ubering him out of nowhere and he instantly knew what I wanted... A good friendship started that day...

 

Anyway, if you have 2 experianced enough medics, they'll kill pyros with their primaries easily, and strafe away from sentryguns together. There are so many strategies to overcome all weaknesses to uberchaining. If PYYOUR and The sucker would uberchain together NOTHING would stop them.

 

One thing more deadly than a soldier with crits, is a demo with crits. 340 damage stickies! 8 clip! Then he has pills as well! There's no stopping that guy. And if a scout gets too close, quickly flash a soldier for an instakill and then to the demo again! It's so powerful :3 that's why crits is always popped on demo in competitive.

 

I also saw that some people were starting to talk about the hats of hat simulator 2013. Tf2 is merely a minigame of HatSim 2013. On that subject I am guilty of having a shit ton of hats, and of course a strange origional with 3 strange parts, a specialized killstreak modfier and on top of all that a name tag anda description tag for maximum swag. My friend has like 20 buds worth of unusuals, so he borrows me a few sometimes :D.

I just thought of something. Why don't we organise some kind of tournament? Jus for fun. Some 9v9, but you don't have to be amazingly good or anything. That would be a lot of fun! Anyone else up for something like this? I can arrange servers and the tournament entirely if nescesary... We could make this into a members-staff event as well! Iunno, I get far too excited over things like this sometimes so tell me if this is not going to happen, since we need a lot of people as well (4v4 perhaps?)

I guess I started TF2 again. Does anypony play regularly in a clan? I'm tired of playing solo and losing because of shit teammates. I'm willing to play whatever class is needed.

I don't like the obligations of a "clan", but maybe some of us on here could try to keep track of other players a bit better - so we can just join up with each other to kick ass when we feel like it.

I've added you on Steam, if that helps. Anyone else who would like to be randomly-invited by anyone who's playing should probably mention it.

I really want to know if more people are up for a tournament. I was thinking of 2v2 and 4v4. With enough people, good or bad, we could make a few brackets and then just start playing! You might make some new friends, or you'll meet someone to play with more often. Anyone who is interested can add me as well. If there are enough people interested we could open a different thread!

Aye, this thread needs to liven up a little. Now that I mention it, the entire poni-arcade should liven up a little. Nothing is happening right now! Remember that tf2 tournament I was thinking about organizing? If we get some people stoked for it we could definately do something fun in collaboration woth the arcade staff!

 

I just want to play tf2 with somr mlpforums bronies :c. Preferably european ones because of lag :c

I can play every class well except solider...

Why? Its good for defenses, its not better than engi for defending capture points but you can be a killing machine with crits or with a good tactic. Also dont think of Painis Cupcake or Watch Videos of him. ;-)
