I agree with zhortac on it consuming your soul. >2k hours here.

How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Three percent of the population likes classical music, if only we could get it up to four percent we'd be back in business and all our problems would be over." How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Everybody loves classical music! They just haven't found out about it yet!" It's an entirely different world. It's what you make of it that counts.

 

I found an easy way to find out if you've inspired someone. If their eyes are shining, you know you're doing it!

Hey everypony !

 

I was wondering if some of you would like to play competitive TF2 with other bronies. It's been a thing I've been thinking of for a long time and here's basically how it could be organized :

 

1. You can play 6v6 or Highlander or whatever ! 6v6 and highlander are the most popular competitive game modes in TF2 but you can still play BBall or Ultiduo (I will develop each mode if someone is wondering what the buck I'm talking about :P). In order to do that, we could use TF2Center ( http://rc.tf2center.com/ ) Easy to create a new lobby, it even provides a mumble server afaik ! But you gotta come up with your own server.

2. You can borrow a server at serveme.tf. It seems pretty easy to use, you just have to set up the start and the end of your reservation and also a password so only bronies who are aware of the password can join. Then just choose the server config, the whitelist and you're good to go !

3. Just gotta enter the server's settings in TF2Center, and here you go : your lobby is ready to welcome the players !

It doesn't matter if you don't play competitively, it's all in good fun ! <: Ofc it's a hell of a lot more organized than regular pubs, but I usually had fun playing lobbies, and it's even more fun when you're playing with someone. So I thought playing with bronies could make it even better ! :D

Then, not everyone might like the competitive format of course, but I'd like to give it a try. :P

Hi, just bumping the thread for a quick announcement.

 

I'm looking for a team to play in the Highlander Open. Signups for teams close on Thursday 26th June and matches start on Sunday 13th July. So I was playing TF2 a few days ago and this guy on the server I was on kept asking these questions, and I quote:

"As the australian longshoot man how do I throw apple juice"

"How do I shoot air as the masked ignition man?" >implying the Pyro is a male

"How engine man use calculator?"

I can't even.

I just started playing this game a few weeks ago, and I've already tried maining almost every class in the game before finally sticking with the Engie. Anyone else have a favorite class?

Sir, yes sir! I main the Soldier, typically with the Original (renamed to My Other Painis... yes.)

The Medic, though I've been playing the Sniper and Scout more recently.

 

Also, I managed to taunt kill someone. A Pyro ran toward me and I "stab, stab, stabbed" him/ her with the Fortified Compound.

Well I'm pretty sure I know the game and his mechanics well enough to join a team. I don't wanna get into the HL Open to try comp, but rather to just play comp since I can't play in a league actively. This happening during the holidays is the perfect occasion. But yeah, too bad you can't either way pick me up :/

 

Do you know by any chance where I can find some people seeking for a sniper/scout/soldier/medic ?

I can play Sniper, Scout, and Medic. I'm not so good with Soldier.
