I was actually going to suggest we stop, if we keep fighting then jordo will take dash right from under our noses. I'm not talking about an alliance, but a peace treaty, let's pay more attention to dash instead of arguing with each other. And i hope dash isn't talking to us, I wouldn't want to upset her...

Your rule for no competing was partially why I didn't jump on the chance to date Octavia. Too much drama! Plus, "dating" Daring has been more fun than a barrel of Pinkie's!

I think that the fight for RD is quite entertaining! I didn't expected her to be so popular for dating. To be honest, if I were I guy, I would probably go for her as well, but I'm a girl and I love Discord so... I wonder how my date with Discord will go, but I expect randomness and chaos, since it's Discord after all, even if he's reformed...

I dunno about that, there's not much difference between him and regular ponies, he grew up near the ocean as a theiving delinquent, and just decided to spend his life as a pirate, but no offense, its also that I have an rp I'm running about my oc already, but I haven't started it yet, anyways the rp will explain his backstory and past in greater detail, and I may have him and his crew run into the mane six, but if I put him in story with daring do, it'll just confuse things.

If I may offer a suggestion? If you are going with the typical "just ask her" approach. Provide some brief exposition. When did you see Luna in person for the first time? Why are you attracted to her? (Please keep it in brief paragraphs.   ) Are you asking her out officially in the Midnight Court or trying to sneak it in during her off duty hours?

 

Another approach would be much less conventional. For example, I wasn't really even interested in Daring when I first popped into her life. Nicely reflecting my own, real life feelings of being an admirer of her work, but not romantically. Romance just kind of happened over time. For you, maybe Luna visited you during a troubling dream and helping you becomes something of a regular activity.

 

She could eventually agree to meet you in person, either for "therapeutic reasons" or because she frankly tells you she want to meet you. Which nicely parallels the real life phenomenon of meeting someone via a long distance interface, and meeting them in person for the first time.
