Here's a strange one. Nice sound, very creepy. Especially the video. Still not fully sure what is going on here. I'm not sure if they were trying to be artistic with it or not....

If you've ever played Majora's Mask, and went to Ikana canyon, you know that the music is pretty damn scary. But what if you played it backwards? Prepare to need a new change of pants.

Anyone here know about BEN?

I love the Ikana Canyon Theme. I usually sing along with it. ^^

Anyone heard the Song of Healing Backwards?

Here's a little creepy thing I made.

Here's an odd song with a weird bass line.

This song here is called "Pony". When I heard it for the first time, the bass line made me laugh!

the most unnerving music i've ever heard... it sends chills down my spine every freakin time. its the cold, dissonant, shrieking notes and syncopated beats....

Now, while Sabbath isn't necessarily odd, this song is very unusual for them.  A soft, psychedelic piece?  This was like unheard off by Sabbath.

The Police were one of the greatest pop groups of the 80's, the sonic geniuses who gave us "Message In a Bottle," "Every Breath You Take" and "Don't Stand So Close to Me." However, they also explored some weird themes occasionally, such as this song (written and sung by guitarist Andy Summers, not Sting) about cannibalism.

"I like to eat, my friends. I make no bones about it.

I like to EAT MY FRIENDS. I couldn't do without it..."

"Human beings fascinate me

Being just the way they are..."

I listen to a lot of really weird, creepy music so I could probably list several dozen songs like that, but here are two particularly creepy examples by one of my favorite musicians, Voltaire.

Recently, I was thinking about how some kid's songs are very weird if you overanaylze them (the way I tend to do Lol). Take "Found a Peanut" for example. If you think about it, it's a really odd and kind of disturbing scenerio.

The whole thing starts out innocently enough. Okay, so you found a random peanut lying on the ground? Er...okay. That's already sort of strange, but I guess I'll go with it. Then, oh look at that, it's rotten. Wait a second, can peanuts even get rotten? I've never heard of a rotten peanut outside of this song...Anyway, whatever: notice it's rotten...EAT IT ANYWAY! Wow, seriously? Are you retarded or do you just enjoy eating things that will make you sick? Next line is: got a stomach ache: only thing in this song so far that makes any kind of sense. Moving on. Operation! Well that...escalated quickly...But hold on a minute, medically speaking, I just don't see how an operation would be in order in this particular situation. It'd probably give you food poisoning, yes? So, they'd probably just give you medications and at the very worst case scenario, pump your stomach (which maybe counts as an operation? Not sure...) Unless of course the rotten peanut somehow perferated your bowel or got lodged in your esophogus, which, alright: operate away.  The story gets darker yet as the singer declares: "died anyway!" Well, holy shit, Batman! All because you were stupid enough to eat random food off the ground! Went to Heaven but...wouldn't take me: Woah, so aside from being a moron, you're also that bad of a person? Went the other way...Finally, woke up and realized it was all a dream, which I guess explains some of how unrealistic the whole thing is. And then...it fucking starts ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

"Down by the Bay" is also sort of weird. It's about a kid who doesn't want to go home because he hates dealing with the weird shit his mother says. Maybe his mom is just kooky/quirky/fun, but what if she has an actual mental illness? That makes the song much darker, indeed.
