I'm thinking of experimenting with three posts per day. And one person would have to wait two one post before they can post again.

I think that's a little much... Only three posts a day ? Waiting for two other people to post seems like a good idea but I think it should be more than three posts... That is, If we are implementing one.

I think instead of a post limit do a post buffer instead. You have to wait a certant number of posts before you can post again. That way it makes it a little easier on people who are lagging behind.

I agree, this does seem like a more reasonable solution. So, everybody, how many posts will the buffer be? (if you still want an outright post limit, feel free to continue arguing for that).

 

Also, I'm surprised no one asked exactly what that whistle did. I was hoping to get satisfaction out of keeping it a secret

I think it should be a 3-4 post buffer that way its not to small nor to big. Smack dab in the middle.

3-4 should do it... We could say the buffer is three posts and if someone hasn't replied in a long time than 2 is acceptable.

Or we could do the same thing with 4 posts and then if no one has replied lower it down to 3

I know its annoying for people to come back and see three pages of posts, but (without trying to sound insensitive) that's what happens when you're offline during the busiest time of the day for most of the RPers. Just saying.

 

A post buffer sounds like a good idea. I'd say three. But it would still make it hard to hold a personal, one-on-one conversation with somepony in a timely manner.

Hmm, ok here lets try this. Post buffer will be 4 post. If in a one on one conversation with someone else you can drop it down to 3 post. If some hasnt replied in 2-3 hours drop it down to three post. Then 4-5 hours we'll make it 2 post. Sound good to everyone?

I can do daily reminders on here. I always keep it that rule in the back o my head. If you check all the pages most of the time i wait for 3 post atleast unless i was rping in an unactive time when only two other people were posting.

uhh, where did theme parks come into my idea? no, it may be at canterlot perhaps. but i would have some of it planned.
