Something unusual for my age group? Well I'm not so sure this would necessarily count as unusual but from I've seen, not every 18 year old guy wishes to have an antique Hutchinson Coca-Cola bottle. 

 

 

That's right. :comeatus:  I'm quite an bottle enthusiast. So far, I just have a couple 7 Up bottles from the 1960s to late 70s era, a 1950s to 60s Squirt bottle, and a couple of Coca-Cola bottles from the 1970s to mid 80s. Not that big of a collection but noticeable. But having the liberty of owning a beautiful 1890s Hutchinson bottle, the first bottle design for Coca Cola, would make it all the more amazing!

 

I'm such a weirdo. I know.

Except that most of mine aren't old, they're just different styles of glass bottles that I found interesting, mostly soda bottle. A lot of them are glass coke bottles from other countries.

1964 Chevy Impala, my Dad had one of these when I was just a wee little kid he had to sell it after he first went into kidney failure to pay the medical bills though. Every Saturday would always be riding around with him and my brother in that car.

I would like to own a video camera, which would be fairly normal for my age group as a general aspiration. What would be more unusual would be a carbon fiber tripod. 

 

 

My hands are so dang shaky I would absolutely require a tripod if I ever wanted to get into cinematography. And carbon fiber ones are incredibly light and sturdy so I'd be happy to bring it anywhere I brought a camera. Mmm, especially if I could afford a tripod head with buttery smooth controls to go along with it.

 

In general, my fantasies as far as cameras go are unusually high end for my age group. If I won the lottery I could get one of those full frame cameras with their big sensors and a lens that could have a wide open aperture with a 400 mm focal length...

This isn't unusual for my age group so much as it's unusual for most people, but... I desperately want another french horn. I sold mine after I switched from classical performance to jazz performance at university. My car was dying and I needed the money. But now, going into teaching, I miss playing it. Watching the horns play in the concert bands and orchestras makes me so nostalgic it hurts.

 

I'd also love to have my own choir. Purely so I could teach them awesome pop songs a cappella in 3 and 4 part harmony.

 

I'll give a passing mention to having sovereign rulership over the entire planet, but barring the sudden appearance of superpowers, that's probably not going to happen.
