I've been looking into going into voice acting but the only problem is i need a good USB mic. :(  So i'm wondering if anybody here can give me some suggestions on good usb mic's that block most if not all background noises and static it will really help me a lot the only rules i have are 1.) it doesn't cost more then $80 and 2.) u can vouch for it due to personal experience. I would really appreciate the help also if you can send me the link to it that would be great.

PS.) I also need the names of some good free beginner audio editing software or programs and i posted this here because i'm not exactly sure what type of topic you would call this.

Well, I don't know that much about microphones myself, as I'm mostly a digital composer. But I can tell you that my favorite Audio Editing software by far would be Audacity. It's free, and easy to use. I would highly recommend it for your recording and editing needs.

I have a Blue Snowball, it is a pretty decent microphone, it does pick up background noise, but perhaps with some more peripherals, most noises can be blocked out a little. Soundproofing your room is probably key.

As for static, I haven't had any problems with static in the background.

I could recommend it.

I don't know anything about micophones but I can tell you that if you're looking for audio editing software then you should try audacity.  it's a fantastic piece of software.
