music Need some help finding Usb mic and audio programs

I've been looking into going into voice acting but the only problem is i need a good USB mic.   So i'm wondering if anybody here can give me some suggestions on good usb mic's that block most if not all background noises and static it will really help me a lot the only rules i have are 1.) it doesn't cost more then $80 and 2.) u can vouch for it due to personal experience. I would really appreciate the help also if you can send me the link to it that would be great.

 

PS.) I also need the names of some good free beginner audio editing software or programs and i posted this here because i'm not exactly sure what type of topic you would call this.

Well, I don't know that much about microphones myself, as I'm mostly a digital composer. But I can tell you that my favorite Audio Editing software by far would be Audacity. It's free, and easy to use. I would highly recommend it for your recording and editing needs.

I have a Blue Snowball, it is a pretty decent microphone, it does pick up background noise, but perhaps with some more peripherals, most noises can be blocked out a little. Soundproofing your room is probably key.

 

As for static, I haven't had any problems with static in the background.

I don't know anything about micophones but I can tell you that if you're looking for audio editing software then you should try audacity.  it's a fantastic piece of software.
