Peewee - The Phoenix That Was Never Seen Again

So...where the hell did Peewee go?

 

Personally I am glad that there have been no more appearances for the sake of plot, yet still this is another one of those loose ends. We never see this little guy ever again, let alone get reaffirmation of his existence. Did Spike set him free? Is it being raised by Philomena?

My headcanon is that Spike kept Peewee for a couple days or weeks until both he and Twilight decided it was best to give him over to Princess Celestia and Philomena is now raising him.

I vote being raised by philomena. Spike doesn't have the knowledge to properly raise a bird that defies death itself. Spike is connected to the princesses through Twilight and would be able to send Peewee to Celestia or Luna for proper attention. Who knows? Maybe Luna has a new pet?

Who knows? We didn't see Tank for a long time after his episode either. Maybe he's still at the library, maybe Twi figured out how to get him back to his parents. I wouldn't mind seeing him again though.

I have a feeling Luna would be more of a Raven type pet owner or something.

I think that the Philomena thing makes sense though, I don't know how spike would've raised the phoenix anyways.

I think he must be under the care of miss Philomena now.  I don't think spike and  twilight could take care of peewee, even though that would be really awesome if twilight made  him another pet.

Spike ate him. He needs to eat fiery creatures to keep his flame strong.

Fuels like coal can be eaten as an alternative but it's expensive and librarians don't make "Coal every day for breakfast" money. Spike has to make due with what life gives him.

Maybe we haven't seen him because it hasn't been necessary yet? Outside of Angel and Opalescence, appearences have been very miniscule until recently; we never Winona or Owlicious after their first appearence again until MtBPw, Gummy rarely showed up in a few episodes, and again Tank didn't show up again until Too Many Pinkie Pies.

 

I know they've proabably had a lot of chances to show him but didn't, but I seriously doubt that they completely forgot about him

He died and they flushed him down the toilet because Spike is terrible with animals.

Peewee then seeks revenge for the rest of his life (because Pheonixes can come back to life), and he becomes an antagonist in Season 4.

They didn't forget him. They just have problems trying to fit Peewee into certain scenes because it seems the pets are always in certain scenes like Opalesces is there when Rarity is having her moment or Winona when we see AppleJack hearding animals. Whever he is though I'm sure Peewee will always be with him because he was the first person he saw after he hatched.

 

 

Imprinting FTW Need an episode of Spike being responsible maybe? (Maybe just a fic)

They don't need to show the pets very often. After all, we hardly see Owlowiscious and Winona, and I don't think we've seen Tank again, either. When there's an appropriate time to show the pets, they'll show 'em, but they're not going to shove them into every few episodes just to prove they're still around. I'm sure we'll see Peewee again when the time is right.

Because they've already done one whole episode about pets, they're unlikely to do another.  But animals and pets make for a good subplot in larger stories.  I think they will work a "Where are they now" kind of angle regarding Peewee into a future episode.  Numerous nods to events from the past have already been worked into season 3 episodes, most recently showing fillies spinning saucers which was a reference to the Cutie Pox.

Ten to one Spike ate him!!!  The way he goes through food in Twilight's house, I'm surprised that she's not at the grocery store 24/7.  So most likely one day she was away at the grocer's when there was no food in the house; Spike nearly passed out from starvation until he noticed Peewee.  And that was the end of Peewee... poor, poor Peewee. 

 

On a serious note, it is kinda odd that he's never shown up since his first appearance, considering how good Studio B's been about continuity.  Ah well, I'm sure he'll show up again at some point.

His parents called the authorities about their child being abducted and they broke down the door and took him back,and Spike went to prison for a few weeks.

Pretty much this. Aside from taking care of the pet himself, sending it to Princess Celestia seems to be one of the only other sensible options.

 

And I did find it pretty odd that neither Peewee or Tank were mentioned on the show again. Like, not even a one liner referring to them?
