"Is that so? well then, in that case You will have to save a dance for me sometime." Styles smiled at the country mare. "But first I must find and greet the hostess of this wonderful party, I wouldn't want to be rude." Styles gave a tip of his hat and set out to find Cascade.

After asking the gatekeeper he set out to the pond. There he sat, waiting for Cascade to see him. He wasn't really one to interrupt ponies who seemed to be having such fun.

 

(OOC: Hm. I missed the second half of that comment. My apologies.)

 

Cascade saw a figure moving out of the corner of her eye, and saw somepony moving at the edge of the lake. She smiled at Ace, Rockshire and Star, and dove underwater, torpedoing towards the shore, and then calmly walking when it became too shallow to torpedo.

 

As she approached this pony, she saw that he was dressed rather more nicely than anypony else present was. "Shame you should wear all that when there's water to enjoy," Cascade said, smiling at the colt. "But I guess there's plenty inside to enjoy, too. Enjoying yourself?"

 

Cello Opal knew that grin, a mischievous one, and she suddenly had every intention to burst his happiness by reaching into her cello, where she carried everything even if it made it heavier, moved her hoof around a bit to increase the pony's courage, then suddenly retracted her hoof with an invitation, or as it seemed. "Here you go."

 

As the pony took it, she mentioned, "My dinner, maybe one day you'll be on it," she retorted. "I saw those posters all around the city, North Arrow," she said, glancing at a name tag on his clothing. "Perhaps you forgot with that brain of yours. Who here asked for an invitation?"

 

((OOC: Dang it, only the improvisation saved me.))

North nodded at the invitation, and ignored the insults hurled at him. "Miss Cascade asked for ponies without invitations to be denied entry. I'm just doing what I'm being paid to do, miss." He smiled kindly, and pointed out towards one of the figures on the beach. "Miss Cascade's out there enjoying the water with several others at the moment, but it shouldn't be long before they all come back inside."

Aarod was still standing in the Ballroom when he realized that there were ponies walking out. Great you missed your chance with any pony now. He told himself as he made his way to the food tables that he was just now noticing. Let's see here, what to eat, what to eat. He thought, as he looked over each and every item before making his way to a bowl of punch. Let's hope there's something in here to get me going. His mind was already thinking of all everything that could be in it. He figured there wouldn't be anything strong as he got himself a glass of it and went back to the spot on the wall he had been standing near. He started to sip it and realized there was defiantly something in it. Wonder how much I'm going to need to drink before I stop thinking about things.

Hop scoffed at Draco's comment. "Draco! You know very well I have my reasons for not dating any stallions and as for that... get your mind out of the gutter, Draco. That's just.." Hop shuttered at the thought. "Yeah." She gave him a look to not say anything to anypony. She swore he is the only pony she knew with a dirty mind. "Im kind of thirsty so im getting some punch. Youre welcome to come along if you want. Its my guess its probably spiked just like at any other party ive been to. Then again I probably need something spiked, even if its just a little." Hop made her way to the punch fountain slowly, waiting to see if Draco would follow.

Draco followed her with a smile on his muzzle "I don't have a dirty mind Little Hop," Draco said as he placed his wing onto her back. "Of course you can always come by my place to relax you know right Little Hop?" Draco said as he looked into her eyes with a gentle gaze.

"Ah, You must be Cascade, the Hostess of this wonderful party. So nice to meet you." Styles said with all of the elegance he could muster. He took her front hoof and brought it to his lips, kissing it lightly in his normal greeting for meeting a mare for the first time. He noticed her odd, and still dripping, wings but didn't give them a second glance; It was impolite to stare.

"Yes I probably should have considered that when I decided to attend this party..." He trailed off before visibly brightening. "You know what, I think ill join you!" with that he unbuttoned his coral colored suit coat and removed his tie, he set his hat atop the rest of his outfit and smiled at his hostess. "Shall we?" He asked before taking flight. He flew just above the water, until he placed his hind legs down, his momentum causing him to ski a short distance before sinking into the water.

Quip helped the ponies to finish setting up the fireworks for the midnight show. "Perfect guys! 300 rockets up and ready for tonight, we got it up a lot faster than i expected" he said before leaving back towards the castle.

 

(FEI, the firework show is happening on the far side of the lake so everyone can see it while they are closest to the castle)

Draco followed her with a smile on his muzzle "I don't have a dirty mind Little Hop," Draco said as he placed his wing onto her back. "Of course you can always come by my place to relax you know right Little Hop?" Draco said as he looked into her eyes with a gentle gaze.

"I beg to differ." she said as she felt his wing again being gently laid on her back. It made her the slightest bit uncomfortable but didn't say anything of it. "And thanks for the offer but I don't think you wouldn't want me to bore you or anything. But if you really want I guess I can." She then noticed his gaze and she figured he had other plans in mind. They reached the fountain and Hop grabbed a cup, filling it with the pink punch. She took a sip of it and smiled. It was indeed spiked and it tasted great too. She then pushed herself closer to Draco to see if he was thinking about what she thought he was. "You should try this punch, Draco. Its really good, and its spiked! Which has been a reoccurring trend at parties."

Cascade blushed slightly when the colt took her hoof - such a gentlecolt! - but otherwise, her sunny demeanor remained undiminished. She really didn't mind that she hadn't found out his name yet, as such inconsequential things as names hardly mattered when fun in the water was to be had. Unfortunately, the water was shallow, and whats-his-face-fancy-stallion flew out to the deep part of the lake. She had to walk a third of the way to him before she could swim enough to hope to catch up. 

 

As she swam faster than most pegasi could fly, she saw Quip walking back around the lake. She detoured, and swam on her back close to the cliff ledge he trod upon. "Why don't you get your hooves wet and join us?" before resuming her underwater flight to who she had so previously spoken to. 

 

She emerged directly behind the stallion, and dove in circles around him, as a dolphin would, and as she had before, laughing the whole way. "I never -blub-blub- caught your name!" She shouted between jumps. She had to stop not long after, because she had caused herself to giggle in doing so.

@,@@Descant, Quip did a 360, he didn't know how he didn't notice the mare before. "Oh, didn't notice you there. I was setting up the fireworks for the midnight show, should be pretty good. I created all 300 of em by hand, took quite a while to do that. I'm Quip" he said and stuck out his hoof. He heard a splash and then Cascade's voice, "Huh?" he said before turning around. Only to see her dive back in and swim away, "Maybe..." he said to her, even though she couldn't hear. He turned back around and stuck his hoof out AGAIN. "Sorry about that. Whats your name?"

Styles was lying on his back, his wings spread wide to provide enough buoyancy to keep him afloat (OOC: Why am I using physics here? I hated that class!) He chuckled as Cascade jumped around him. Upon hearing her question he twitched at how he could have been so rude. His spasm caused him to be dunked underwater. He came up sputtering. when he had composed himself he turned to Cascade to answer her. "How could I have been so rude? My name is Classy Styles, or just Styles as I prefer to be called."

Ace stuck out his toung playfully as Cascade left he then turned to the mares. "Again I'm sorry for the suprise interduction I should have...as they say "looked before I leaped." Ace said sticking his hoof out. "I'm Flying Ace by the way and I thin kI already met you Star."

Cascade smiled, floating on her back once again, her wings fluttering below her. "Don't think of yourself as rude, Styles. I don't mind." She batted him with a hoof playfully. "It happens to everypony." She looked over, and noticed that they were swimming awfully close to where Ace and the mares had been before. Without warning, she submerged, and shot towards them. It seemed a shame to not talk with Ace and the mares as well when they were so close.

Peachy was a little saddened and irritated the stallion just ignored her but when he turned around and apologized, All traces of that were gone from her face. "Well, howdy-doo, Mr.Quip it's a pleasure makin' your acquaintance." She said after the he had introduced himself she was about to stick out her hoof to meet his until it was interrupted but another pony who was swimming in the lake. After Cascade left Quip asked for her name. "Mah name is Peachy Pie ,but everyone just calls me Peachy." She replied as she shook hooves with Quip. "Ah've absolutely love me some fireworks!" She told him. "But you made 300 of them by yourself!?!.....That's mighty impressive if you ask me?" She complemented him with a smile. "Say who was that just now that was swimming in that there lake?" she asked.

Draco withdrew his wing "No thank you I'd rather be sober right now," Draco said as he looked at Little Hop. He always did thought she was cute when ever he delivered her something she needed. He also didn't mind being call a mail pony by her. He found it cute whe she did.too

Hop felt bare when Draco took his wing off her back. Almost like she missed it and wanted it to be there. What had felt uncomfortable only seconds ago now felt comforting and safe. She made a mental note of the feeling. *I hope im not developing feelings for him. I don't like him like that, nor do I want to. Come on Hop, you know you like him, just go with it. Maybe he likes you too. Ok, but im not playing easy to get. No! You told yourself you wouldn't get involved with anypony... even if I like them. Whats wrong with me? Im going crazy, fighting against myself...* She still wanted to know how he felt about her anyways so she set the cup down then pushed up against him more than before and gave him a cute smile. "Is there anything you want to do?" she asked, slightly resting her head on his shoulder.

Cello Opal nodded at the gate pony, trotting past him without giving him any more thought. She neared the beach, looking into her cello for a few seconds before pulling out her own bathing suit. Sometimes it amazed other ponies what she could pull out of her cello, and she always felt like Mary Trottins (Reference, anyone?). She stepped into a modern looking outhouse, probably meant for getting rid of waste with a side use of changing, changed, and stepped over to a chair, setting her cello on it.

I guess it's because I've been alone most of my klife. Remember when I told you about the fire?" Draco asked.

@, Quip could hardly keep the smile off his face, he loved western accents. "That was Cascade, the owner of the Castle. And yeah, it takes ages to make that many. But i had a few friends to help me since i had such a sudden deadline. Also, your name is kinda similar to Pinkie Pie, you a relative of hers?"

Aarod after standing around in the ballroom for much longer than he should of, finally made his way to the outside where he started to look around. That was also when he noticed the pool and the rather large number of ponies gathered there. He looked at each of them, but most seemed to be talking to someone, that is all but one it seemed like. The pony was an earth pony, who had a brown coat. Alright Aarod, nothing stupid now. He said to himself as he walked over to her. "Hello there," He said hoping to start a conversation. "I couldn't help but notice that you were standing over here all alone and wanted to know if you would like some company?" he finally finished.

Styles was a little surprised at Cascade's sudden disappearance but saw her resurface a short ways away near 3 other ponies. he swam over to introduce himself. "Hello all, my name is Styles. Pleased to meet you." He looked at the other stallion quizzically  he looked somewhat familiar but he couldn't place it. He guessed it was probably weather patrol or something like that.

"I just arrived here, but that'd be alright." She sat down on a chair next to her cello, which was next to another chair, all in a long row of chairs. "I'm just going to sit here a bit before I get into the water, it seems like clean water for a beach. "Get to know everypony here, especially the host of this fine party. She must be nice if she trusts anypony who comes here!"

Trust me on this I'm the best courier you can hire to get your packages to you," Draco said as he looked at Little Hop then he sighed as he looked tired now. "Even now I feel older than I should. I guess it's because I've been alone most of my klife. Remember when I told you about the fire?" Draco asked.

Hop listened as Draco talked. She knew he was the best courier, and he was the only courier she has ever hired to get her stuff. When he mentioned the fire her heart sank a little. "Yeah I remember that story. What about it?" she asked, her voice soft and silky.

"Oh so she's the owner of this here castle huh. Ah outta go thank her for inviting me here and all." Peachy responded. It wasn't too often she was invited to such things so she'd figure she should at least show her gratitude towards her host. "Well i bet that the fireworks show will be the best fireworks ah've seen yet." Peachy said cheerily. "Oh yah mean cousin Pinkie Pie? Yeah ah'm related to her and are names are sound almost the same but we aren't that similar." Peachy told him. Peachy actually knew when to be quiet unlike her hyper cousin. "Let me guess she must've thrown you a party the first time she met you right?"

Star smiled at Rockshire. She looked into her beautiful sparkling eyes then asked. "Um...Rockshire...Would you mind joining me in a walk over to the gazebo...Over there." She pointed at a small Gazebo made out of sand sitting next to the lake at the end of the beach.
