Draco pushed out of the pond slowly then walked to where he saw Little Hop run off to but then he saw her. How dare she lead him on like that. His heart began to break. He began to glare at the two. If looks could kill well they would be ashes. In his silver eyes held hurt deep seated hurt.  He began to walk away then recited a line from Loveless "Even if the morrow is barren of promises

When he realized she was getting closer, he decided why not and wrapped one of his hooves around her. "I will always protect you." He whispered, not knowing if she could even hear him. He didn't know what might happen next, or even if she liked him, because he liked her. All he knew is he had found a friend at this party, something he was not expecting to happen.

Hop put a hoof and Aarod's mouth, "Shut up and stop talking." she said forcefully. Hop didn't want to hear anything besides the music playing. Putting her hoof back to she shifted a little getting more comfortable. She then pecked him on the cheek, then closed her eyes when she rested her head back and listened to the music.

(If anyone wants, Quip is open to communication... and a marefriend ._.) Quip sighed as Peachy Pie left him, she was fun, and quite an amazing mare. He shook his head and headed back to the edge of the water, sitting down and letting his hooves get wet. Good luck Quip, nopony likes the dangerous one

Peachy Pie was quietly eating her hayfries in front of Star Keeper. There wasn't any conversation between them for quite some. Peachy wanted to talk but she just couldn't find the words to say to break the ice. What could she say? The ideas avoided her mind. "Soooo what do ya do for a living?" Peachy asked breaking the silence between the two while taking a bite out of her sandwich. She then looked over to the lake and saw a familiar pony looking a little down. "Oh poor Quip....He looks lonely." Peachy thought to herself before getting up. "Err pardon me Star Keeper there's uh something ah gotta do right quick.......ah'll be right back soon." She said trotting over in Quips direction not even giving the stallion a chance to respond. 

 

Peachy trotted over behind Quip. "Hey Quip ya look a  little lonely out here so ummm ah just wanted to tell ya your welcome ta come with me ah'm  just getting some grub to eat with another stallion." she said to him.

Draco ruffled his feathers as he walked back.  "Yeah thanks for leading me on Cadence," Draco said with venom in his voice. He only used her true name whenever she done something truely terrible. "But fine whatever," Draco says as he pulled out his inhalor and breathed in when he felt his asthma began to act up gain. He was hopping (pun not intended) mad.

After Aarod was told to shut up, he did. He laid his head back and waited, enjoying the moment. He saw out of the corner of his eye Draco but didn't say anything and just watched him. He didn't want any violence to break out since it would most likely get them both kicked out almost instantly.

Hop lifted up her head, opening her eyes. "Hey Aarod... do.. do you... never mind." she looked at the floor not wanting to make things awkward between the two. The music drowned out her thoughts until she looked over to the side. *oh no. don't think about it Draco* she thought furiously.

Aarod looked down at Hop. "Please do not be afraid to ask me anything. Do I what now?" He asked her. It's not that he really cared that she wasn't asking him, it was more of that he wanted to know what it was she wanted to ask him. His eyes however were still focused on Draco, knowing anything could happen at any time.

"Whatever Cadence you never did give me a chance to tell you how I feel. I guess I'll be alone for the rest of my life," Draco looked to her with a glare.  He said cooly to the two as he walked up to the two "I loved you Little Hop but it doesn't matter eh you never gave me the chance to tell you I was going to tell you at the party but hey it's just another heartbreak for me. Or rather another Whiskey Lullabye," he walked away but not beforesaying this "Before I go you new guy be prepared to get your heart broken by this mare," he began to walk away slowly as he let a lone tear fell from his cheek. He needed to get away from the two before he did something that he would truely regret.

@, Quip shook his head and kept looking down at the water, "Nah... I already ate... but man, what I would pay for a blanket and some pillows so I could lay down here comfortably and look up into the stars" he said the first part of his sentence a bit forlornly. He finally decided to look at Peachy. "Look... I don't know what you think of me so far, but its probably best we don't become friends... I'm no good for anypony" he said to her before looking back down at the water.

Draco walked anywhere just to get the sorrow from his heart. He shook her head letting his tears fall. he gripped his chest almost as if he was in pain. He walked to the tower slowly to be alone atleast for now. He looked to the sky as he sang a song his father taught him so long ago.

After a moment Hop wrapped her own hooves around him. She still felt vulnerable but having Aarod there was helping some so Hop pulled even closer, trying to get as close as possible. Hop realized that she had involuntarily ruffled the feathers on her wings, and let them lay flat again. She looked into Aarods' eyes for a full five seconds before she leaned in and locked lips with him...

Cascade nodded solemnly. "I'm your friend now. Find me later if you need me, alright?" When Hop trotted away, Cascade dove into the water, taking a shortcut directly through the middle of the lake to get back to where Ace now stood in front of the castle (and never noticing the pair of ponies who had been following them). "Sorry, there was something I had to take care of. But I'm back! Don't I owe this fine colt a dance? Or did the other one win?" She asked, eyeing Ace with an air of curiosity. @@Marathon, @@Flying Ace,

"Uhhhh, yeah that will be me..." Ace said rasing a hoof like he was in school. "Um, so....want to dance?" Ace asked blushing slightly. Ok I didn't think this though how am I gunna tell her I can't dance?! Ace though scratching the back of his head nervesly. "So how are you?"

As the new pony approached  Star took a slight step behind Rockshire.

She nodded shyly at Styles question. "I uh...Y-Ya, I am really enjoying it." She said very quietly, Taking another very small step behind Rockshire.

She noticed a punch bowl on the table and quickly started to get herself a glass, trying to give herself something to do apart from just standing there.

Styles noticed that the shy mare was hiding behind the other one and turned towards the mare that had yet to speak. He didn't want to frighten the shyer pony and expected that an offer to dance wouldn't end well. "And you? How are you enjoying this party." It wasn't like him to abruptly ignore another pony after asking a question but Star didn't seem like she wanted to talk much.

Styles noticed that the shy mare was hiding behind the other one and turned towards the mare that had yet to speak. He didn't want to frighten the shyer pony and expected that an offer to dance wouldn't end well. "And you? How are you enjoying this party." It wasn't like him to abruptly ignore another pony after asking a question but Star didn't seem like she wanted to talk much.

Rockshire looked back to Star who was cowering behind her. Poor soul... It was admittedly cute, but she didn't want to laugh or smile at it.

 

"Oh, uh, I'm fine... I'm having a good time at this party... Anyways, my name is Rockshire, and this is Star Song... What's your name, if I may ask?", she asked this new stallion.

"Uhhhh, yeah that will be me..." Ace said rasing a hoof like he was in school. "Um, so....want to dance?" Ace asked blushing slightly. Ok I didn't think this though how am I gunna tell her I can't dance?! Ace though scratching the back of his head nervesly. "So how are you?"

Cascade smiled at Ace. He was so adorably awkward "I'd love to dance with you. Come on," she said, taking Ace's hoof and half-dragging him into the castle, towards the Ballroom. "I'm great!" she said happily, when she heard him ask how she was. "I've been so excited for this party, I've been preparing for weeks, and it's finally here! And I'm having a great time!" As she said this, she spotted Hop in a corner, wrapped around Aarod. Looks like she took my advice. Good for her, Cascade thought, with a smile. "Looks like I'm not the only one enjoying myself, either."

"Oh my, where are my manners today? My name is Classy Styles, but please just call me Styles." Styles lifted his hat again in greeting. He was slightly flustered over the fact that his manners seemed to have deserted him. 

Looking back at the door he saw Ace and Cascade walk in. "Ah it appears as if the dancing is about to start. Would I be able to interest either of you in a dance?"

Cascade simply smiled broadly, and stopped pulling Ace into the Ballroom. Her grip relaxed, bur her hoof remained holding his. She was courteous enough to slacken her grip to the point he could pull away if he wanted to.

 

She noticed Styles standing some way away,  trying to talk two mares into... possibly... dancing with him. She grinned. Poor chap. She'd have to grant him a dance later, too. She looked back at Ace, and nodded her head. "Any particular song you wanted to dance to? Descant ---- the DJ ---- Hasn't had any requests yet."

Draco walked back into the ballroom but stuck to the shadows alone. He would still deliver to Little Hop but he won't be as friendly with her and be more profesional. The hurt was not so severe now but it still hurt that she had ran away from him. It wasn't fair to him she lead him on "It's not fair," Draco said to himself.

Cascade sighed. "I can never choose, I'm no good at picking," she said. "They're all great choices. And I can dance to pretty much anything..." She thought for a moment, temporarily distracted by Ace's apparent discomfort. "Hey, Styles," she called to the nearby stallion, "Know any good songs? Pick a few, if you would."

Cello Opal didn't know where to go. She had come to find romance, as she knew many stallions would come, but it seemed that it would stay a normal party. She didn't see any stallions who wanted to talk, and she certainly didn't want to interrupt anything they were doing. She decided to begin walking along the lake, to see if a stallion didn't seem to be doing anything.

((OOC: I had no ideas, so I might as well go with this and hope that a stallion intercepts Cello Opal on her aimless stroll.))
