I'll post my much-used step-by-step guide to applying a signature.

 

 

1. Right click the signature.

2. Click 'Copy Image URL'

3. Navigate to your settings

4. Click on signature

5. Click on the tree thingy that represents pictures

6. Paste

7. ????

8. PROFIT!

As put in the initial post, I prefer to use Gimp. I do have Photoshop, but I'm not a huge fan of it, and have much more experience with Gimp.

Not at all. In fact, I would highly enjoy it if you did. I like doing things, and I haven't gotten much activity on this thread. After all, I need practice.
